Wonderful spot to let your dog off leash! We do have a dog in a dog run to the right side of the property near the house. They are very friendly but may bark out of excitement when you arrive, but Reno is super friendly. He will not be roaming in the area for your dog but there is a small portion of shared chain linked fence. There is also plenty of space to play with your dog that isn't near Reno. Some parts of the year there can be stickers in a small portion of the front yard. This doesn't seem to be a problem for short hair dogs at all, but your pup might get a couple if they have fluffy poodle hair or long hair. Most guests just use the back yard, so it’s not an issue. Every now and then 2 of the neighbors along the back side of the property have their dog in their backyard. Your dog will be able to see through, as the fence is chain link on the backside. The property is so large, there is definitely room for privacy, however. If you need to use the waterhose, there is one on the left side of the main house, And there is also a water spigot on the right side of the back house. When you arrive the first time, simply text me through the app and I'll let you in the front gate and show you around if I can. You can park in front if the garage. While any size pet is welcome to come enjoy the space, it is a cozy, intimate yard—perfect for small-to-medium dogs to run, or larger dogs who prefer sniffing (and splashing) over long-distance sprinting. About half of the yard is beautifully shaded by mature trees, offering the perfect mix of exploration and cool relaxation. The Ultimate "Sniff Safari" (Sensory Experience) Because of our unique location on the hill above the creek, our yard is a hotspot for fascinating wildlife trails. The air and grass are rich with authentic, high-value scents from local overnight visitors, including raccoons, skunks, possums, and even the occasional coyote or bobcat. Your dog's nose will be working overtime in this 1,500 sq. ft. sniffing haven! A Note on Nature: Because we are adjacent to a natural creek habitat, non poisonous snakes have been spotted a few times over the last 10+ years so please keep a mindful eye on your pup as you would in any natural setting. We have at least a full .5 acres inside a fence for off leash play. Includes access to a swimming pool for dogs (and humans) that love water. Chairs available on the pool deck along with oversized umbrella. Provide dog towels, poop bags, sunscreen and bug spray. Access to the field is available through a back gate. There is a cleared area near the creek and horse trail. We just ask that dogs be on leash outside the fence. Do not block the garage (parking available in the driveway if you pull far enough forward) Please put garbage in the provided trash cans. Place used towels on the porch.
