Welcome to Olive and Louie's Pooptopia, where it will always be poop free upon your arrival. Let your dog enjoy a large, 6 foot tall, fenced in yard with plenty of space to run, play fetch and sniff the scents of our own 2 dogs and the bunnies that venture into it. The entrance to the backyard is accessible through a gate off the side of the house with plenty of street parking. Water is accessible through a hose in the back yard as well as a little frog pool for your pup to have fun in.

2+ acres of fully fenced (5 ft) small wooded paths (larger unfenced hiking space available in extras) and a large grass area to run. The fence is partially chain link and partially wire pulled between wood posts. The terrain is a mix of grass and wooded areas with small walking paths through the woods. Included in your time at our spot: - Standard Treats For Your Dog - Disposable Water Bowl - Hand Sanitizer - Human Water - Poop Bags - Towel for drying – A Basket of Toys (Cleaned Daily with pet-safe disinfectant) - Hose located near the back door for you to hose boots or dogs before heading home. (Full dog washing station coming early Summer 2024!) Swing set available for kids to use, at your own risk and under your supervision, while their pet runs around, however; the trampoline is strictly off-limits. Check out our extras that you may add, including premium dog treats from Mountain Dog Cookie Co, a kiddie pool for your dog in the summer months, additional unfenced space for your dog to explore their primal instincts (perfect for sporting dogs!), and even some human treats! Canine Respiratory Illness, what are we doing about it? We've taken a few extra precautions to keep our dogs & visitors safe. In our welcome basket, you'll find disposable bowls that you may use the hose next to the back door to fill up for your pup! Please dispose of your bowl in the garbage can next to the welcome basket. Additionally, toys in the basket will also be wiped down at least once per day with a pet-safe disinfectant. **The host is not responsible for any harm caused to you, your children, or your pets while using the swing set.**

Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer primarily range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Canine Respiratory Illness! Here’s what we are doing! -disposable one-visit bowls are to be found in our bin, please use them for your dogs and then dispose of them before you go or take them home. -we will continue to disinfect the toys provided at least once a day with our dog-safe disinfectant Effer-San. -We ask that you place used toys in the used toy bin after use. - in the summer the patio and grass near the house will be sprayed with our dog-safe disinfectant Wishy-Wash once a day. -We do this for our dogs as well as for yours

A big back yard with a 6' privacy fence. There is a big driveway you can pull into and walk right into the back yard. I have balls and more toys availible. Water bowls and a small pool. Have a safe fun place for your dog to train or just get the zoomies out.

A very securely fenced and lovely private area to train your dog or just let him or her run and be silly and play. There are often chickens and horses just on the other side of an adjacent fence which many dogs find interesting, but is not included in the accessible play area. A large portion of all funds raised is donated to a Senior Dog Sanctuary. Adults only with dogs unless other arrangements have been made with the property owner. (Owner reserves the right to cancel guests if rental area is too wet or muddy from recent rains in order to preserve the flora.)

Our spacious backyard is ideal for dogs that need to run run run! We have a 5 foot fence and will add more amenities if we get enough guests. We have 2 Bernese mountain dogs that play well with others if you want them to join you!

Large, fenced in private area to play. We have tennis balls & frisbees available to use. We have the patio furniture and hose out for use in the summer. We have a private parking space that is fenced in. If you’d like to use it to avoid taking your dog out of the car on a busy street, please send us a message!

Grass and rain: Please keep in mind that during moderate to heavy rains the area without mulch can get muddy. Beginning May of 2024, we will post pictures daily to our Instagram account showing the condition of the spot. As you can imagine, due to the wear and tear the spot gets, it’s difficult to keep the grass alive. However, we do our best to reseed during the spring. BarkPark sits right across the street from The Salvation Army Freedom Center. This spot is fully fenced (chain link and wood) with the side facing the sidewalk being 5ft and the rest of the fence being 6ft. There is a dual-gate entrance to the spot for a safe entry and exit. Street parking is available. There is plenty of seating at this spot with shade throughout the day. There's a rain barrel filled with water for dogs to hydrate and cool down. We have water bowls available. GIANT sandbox that's great for digging and playing; no digging elsewhere please. On hot days, we do our best to keep the sand wet. Trash can onsite. We have poop bags available in two different areas for easy access. Half of this spot is covered with grass and the other half with playground mulch. This spot is big enough to get a good fetch session in or to just let the zoomies out. We also recently added agility equipment. We hope you and your four-legged friend/s have an exceptional time during your visit and choose to come back. Lost toys and items: Due to the amount of visits we get we aren’t able to track which items belong to which guest. If you’ve lost a dog toy or other item, please reach out and we’ll do our best to retrieve it and hold it for you. If you don’t reach out, we’ll hold onto it for a week and then add it to the Lost and Found Toy Box. Water: The dog drinking water gets changed 1-2 times per week, depending on the temperature/usage. During the winter months we empty the water barrel. If your dog/s require water during the winter months, we ask that you please bring your own. Food: You’re welcomed to bring food but we ask that you please clean up as a courtesy to other guests. Future additions: We hope to add more amenities over time. Our plans are to add more sand to the sandbox in late April or early May of 2024. We’re also hoping to have on-site parking around mid summer of 2024. Welcome to our backyard! We have a soft spot for reactive dogs and those that don't enjoy the mosh pit of public dog parks or strange people. (Heck, sometimes even taking a walk in the neighborhood is hard!) We also know how valuable new experiences are for dogs and how being off leash to run, sniff, and play is good for dogs' physical and mental well being - and ours, too! Our privacy fencing and large yard allows you and your dog to have safe place away from unfamiliar people / other dogs. It's great for getting your dog some different sniffs and letting them off leash for a game of fetch!

Your dog can enjoy lots of interesting smells in our outdoor training yard where we hold our weekly obedience classes. Enjoy shade trees, grass, bushes, and a poop can for your convenience. This is a great spot for starting to expose your dog to the sight of other dogs and people without having to interact with them.

Payton’s playground is a spot where you can spend personal time with your dog by yourself without having to worry about others intruding in on your play session. We have agility equipment, pools, ramps, weaving poles, water bowls and more available at your disposal. It’s a great environment to be in & is directly adjacent to one of the best doggy daycares in Chicago, PupStars Pet Care. Bad news: The weather is making the front gate wonky. Sometimes it closes perfectly, sometimes not. There’s a bungie cord to help close it, but if this is a concern for you and your pup, wait a bit until I figure out a good solution. Large yard right on the river. No access to the river (yard is fully fenced), but human views of the water, ducks, other birds, and wildflowers on the bank. Pesticide, and herbicide, free lawn but various flowers, shrubs (and weeds) on the edges. Lots of wildlife in the area. Birds visit, bunnies, squirrels, etc. more than your average Chicago yard. End of dead end with pretty good privacy. There are 3 big dogs at the house across the alley, but they are also well fenced. They are out on occasion, but usually not for long and I can’t guarantee their schedule. The view is mostly blocked by garbage cans and bushes, but not completely, so this may not be the place if your pup is super reactive. There are 2 Adirondack chairs, feel free to move around into sun or shade or lay out a blanket or whatever you need to be comfortable. There is stainless steel water bowl and some toys. Feel free to use the hose by the stairs to fill up the water bowl. Chain link fence on most and iron fence at front. Not ideal for small dogs or escape artists that can squeeze under or through fence. See photos for details of fence and if your dog would try to squeeze through.

We are a dog loving home located on a large lot right off the Illinois Prairie Path in Lombard! Perfect spot for owners who already walk their companions on the path to stop and have some playtime or extra training time. Our favorite times of year to see our Newfie play outside are winter (he loves to catch snowballs, chase our kids and then lay in the cold snow)…and the summer when he lays in the cool grass and plops himself down in the kiddie pool. We hope your doggies will love to enjoy our yard just as much!

Fall/Winter update: the yard is DARK after 5pm. Hose is off for winterization, so please bring water. Our 1/2 acre fully fenced dog-friendly yard is here to host your special furry friends. We live a short, straight-shot drive from Chicago and are butt-up against the beautiful Salt Creek (and all the wild life that also calls the creek "home" - bunnies, squirrels, groundhogs, birds, garden snakes (harmless, but present in May), etc.). The head of Salt Creek Trail is located just a block away on Thomas Street, so feel free to explore the creek/trail after your yard time. It leads all the way to Villa Park, where you can catch the Prairie Path / Great Western Trail. You'll pass by MORE Brewing Company as well as outdoor bar and food trucks Fuel and Creme (ice cream). Make a day of it! Please note that even though the yard IS fully fenced, it is comprised of a variety of sizes shapes ranging from 6 feet privacy, raw iron, to 4 foot chain-link, barn wood with chicken wire between the wood gaps. You know your dog's "flight risk" better than anyone, so please make smart decisions when booking our yard. Dispose of poop bags in the BLUE TOP bin (green is recycle). Finally, note that we can only host 2 dogs at a time due to wear and tear on the yard. Have fun!

Enjoyed by our dogs for 15 years, our yard is a good size for zoomies, grass naps, and squirrel & bird watching. We have a table with comfy chairs and a kiddie pool. A crate of our guardian angel’s toys await your pooch. The neighbors on each side are dog free. You can spend time without a barking contest ensuing.

This fully fenced in 0.25 acre yard is attached to our Dog Training studio in Hoffman Estates. It is available for use when we're closed. It is only available after 6:00pm Mon-Fri, and is available all day on Saturdays and Sundays. You and your dog(s) will be the only ones on property during your reservation.

**We have added OPEN reservations from 8:30am to 5:30pm weekdays for people that would like to visit the yard prior to deciding if they would like to become full access Members.** We LOVE sharing our space with multiple dogs from the community however, it is hard on the grass. For this reason, we have limited our evening & weekend availability to Members Only to decrease the wear and tear on the yard. With the fluctuation in weather please be aware: If outdoor parks are wet and muddy ~ areas of our yard will be also. We cannot control the effects of rain. Please always use the provided carabiner to lock the gate as pictured after you and your dog(s) enter. We have installed multiple methods of LIGHTING for evening reservations. Easy instructions for use will be sent when you make the reservation. We do have a SHADE/RAIN SHELTER! :) WATER: We provide fresh water every 24hrs located in(or next to) the CORONA Cooler. PARKING: One FREE private parking space located at the entrance from the alley at the back of the lot. Since some guests were having a tough time with the parking space, we did finally WIDEN the entrance. We park 2 Honda CRV's back there daily without issue. Fully fenced 6 foot secure and private green space. Large open lot with seating and plenty of room to play fetch or just relax off leash. Easy street parking, no permit required. Any Extras will be located in the storage bin on the east wall of the lot. We have evening hours 6:00p to 9:30p for Members Only, 7 days per week.

Plenty of room for your dog(s) 🐕 or tortoises 🐢 to run around or just bask in the sun! ☀️ Let yourself in. Help yourself to any seat or the hammock! Feel free to let your dogs play with the dog toys, as well. There's a hose and water dish. There's also a pooper scooper "system" - see pics - scoop with tray, dump in "poop" bucket, cover with a little bit of pine shavings, and close the buckets!
