Lil Campbell River Farms Private Dog Park and Forest In South Surrey

1 Acre fully fenced grassy area Dog Park with covered seating area to enjoy your coffee. No sprays or pesticides used on grass. Long stretch for ball launching and getting out the zoomies. Another 12 acres of walking over a bridge of the Lil Campbell River into an incredibly lush forest. The forest is not all fenced. Once over the bridge, it is the dog owner discretion of whether your dog is off leash or leashed. It is a private forest so it is rare to see other dogs and people, but wildlife is always a possibility. Please keep your dog on a leash from the parking area to the dog park area and also from the dog park to bridge for a walk through the trails in the forest.

During this time, all bookings will take place at Sniffspot Field 2, our private fenced play area with river access and plenty of space for dogs to run and explore. When you arrive, please follow the posted Sniffspot signs directing you to Field 2. There’s an even a small creek so you might want to bring boots! Note: A neighbor's dog can sometimes be heard in the distance, but it is completely out of sight and secure. Or come at night, and take in the moon & star 🌟 gaze - breathe in the country air with your furry friends…it’s beautiful out here! Upon booking, please message me with your cell number so I can text you some short instructional videos. Also included will be a map that you can refer to showing the trails. If I am home, rest room will be available 😊 There is also a hose available by the garden. Lastly, I keep the Sabbath so if you book after Sundown Friday I will send you the instructional videos Saturday night. Camp Good Dog

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD We are a Dog Boarding business based in Maple Ridge. We have down-time during the day that may be a great opportunity to give your dog a fun time on our property. Everything is fenced in and up to regulations for a dog business. There is a pond available for swimming, ( bring towels ) dog jumps in the back, and plenty of room for your dog to run around. Please park up top using the easy driveway, and walk ( with the dog leashed as you may pass by goats in a field ) walk down the hill past the kennel building and through the gates. Please turn the vacant / occupied gate signs as you come and go . Sniffspot signs will show you the way. Please poop scoop and take it with you. Bags are provided. Woof!

Unfenced Private Dog Park on Frog Hill - Standalone

We generally offer these fields as part of our main spot, but have opened them up as a standalone when we need access to our fenced yard or driveway. These fields are unfenced, but private as they back onto woods/bush and not a road/neighbour. We live on a hillside and have stepping stones to connect the side and lower field. I would recommended wearing footwear appropriate for a small hike. Street parking only. IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD

Lake Cavanaugh K9 Ranch

22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering line clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. I will send you detailed instructions for the hike up the mountain upon request. This is a real hike and I recommend hiking attire. Please bring water for yourself and your dogs. The hike is about 3.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain. I recommend booking at least 2 hours to complete. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views you may want to book more than 2 hours.

With approximately 3 miles of well marked trails, you and your pooch are sure to enjoy exploring this private hiking spot. Dogs may be off leash as long as they remain under your control at all times. Please clean up after your dogs. RESPECT OUR NEIGHBORS! Enjoy your visit! ***NOTE: Expect there to be mud or water in places on the roads and trails during the rainy winter season. Please plan accordingly. Also keep in mind that the trails are on a hill and there is a chance you may see deer, coyote, squirrels, bear or other forest animals that may potentially cross through our property. ***Charges are in USD*** We welcome all dogs to have an amazing space to room around. We have our own dogs and some neighbourhood dogs that come by to visit. Our property is not fenced but as the dogs seem to enjoy playing together, we get don’t leave the property.

Bird Watching and Tail Wagging at the Beaver Pond

Please Note: 11/25/22- I’ve decided to open up the calendar for a bit to allow reservations with greater ease, but I do still ask that you message first in case someone related to our forest cleanup project is on-site. 10/1/22- At this time the property could be potentially available for your use, however, we are preparing for the forest cleanup project that we’ve been working towards with the DNR for over a year. If you are interested in visiting here, please message and if it works out I’ll be happy to accommodate you. 07/01/22- Important: The Sniffspot platform does not allow hosts the option to approve or cancel reservations, as such I have blocked my calendar to more easily control reservations. I often don’t know until last minute when the forest manager I’m working with for the DNR forest cleanup project is on-site, the logging will take place hopefully this winter. — This 21-acre forest with a large beaver pond is classified as a class-A wetland. In addition to this, you can find a shallow creek, beaver dams, old-growth forest, and phenomenal bird habitat. Find privacy and quiet with the exception of the songs of many birds and woodpeckers. This property was once a show home, but a fire took place over 10 years ago and the house was not rebuilt. While the ruins that remain are minimal, it sets an interesting backdrop; perhaps it can be the scene for a mysterious photoshoot. Within the property is a small orchard, we do ask to try to not let the pups do their business there. Spring 2022 Update: One picnic table have been added to the property.
