North Star Ranch Private Dog Park In Archer

Hello, We would like to welcome our dog friends to our private fully fenced wooded dog park we named The North Star Ranch. The North Star is positioned right over our entrance, and you might see it if you stay at the ranch late. Please bring your own water, snacks, poo bags. Also we have no trash collection, so please take your waste home with you. This is what we do as well. Consider a visit to our ranch a visit to nature that has been fenced in for your dogs’ convenience. And as in all Florida woods, there are some safety concerns you need to be aware of before your reservation. There are more or less visible stumps and vines all over the ranch. There are also some prickly cacti, buckthorn bushes and brambles. Tree logs and trunks have been arranged in some areas as edging for trails. The ranch is a work in progress and we are very slowly cutting prickly plants back to where they aren’t in dogs’ faces, but it’s taking us a while. Long pants and closed toed shoes are very much recommended. We also suggest tick spray if you’re worried about them. We find that in winter time they are rare. Mosquito cream is available during summer months at the gate. We recommend you use it. There is a 20 liter canister of water for dogs available at the picnic table along with a black rubber bowl. There is a back gate at the ranch and we don’t suggest venturing out of, as the back of the property is NOT fenced, and trails are grown over. Please stay in the fenced-in area only for your safety! We hope you and your dog enjoy lots of sniffing while you’re either strolling along or sitting down in one of our picnic areas. There is some agility equipment available at your discretion. Please use it wisely and look out for your pet’s safety first. Wilderness warning! ⚠️ Snakes have been spotted at the ranch several times. Our dogs run through the ranch daily, so wildlife is used to human and canine presence. This was their home before we enclosed it, so we respect their presence and move around them if we spot them. To this date we haven’t had any negative experience with the wildlife, and we surely want to see you stay safe as well. Keep your eyes open if you veer off the main paths, and have some treats in your pocket to help call your dog back to you in case of a snake sighting. The sightings definitely drop off in the colder months. We hope you enjoy our ranch as much us we do! Our dogs absolutely love it and we lovingly nicknamed this place our “sanity ranch”. Enjoy!

Fence in area on corner lot of property No bathroom but if we are on site just ask! This is my older dog run before moving my business one lot over. This is secluded and your own private area. I do use this during our training classes. There is a 12x32 ac/heated building (tv with wifi access) Set up like a living room. It has been used for training and occasional a extra boarding pup in the past. Bring your kids, TICK TREATMENT is a MUST for all dogs coming. We back up to OLENO STATE PARK (TICK CAPITOL OF FLORIDA) Bug spray for you will work...we do spray and treat the yard...but It never fails ill find one occasionally here and there. All amenities are in front of the fence you can stick over (please dont throw) the fence for use. I just ask you replace it back. You can park under the large tree with bricks around it (the one next to the coop) or closer to the building just not past the cones. Only use the building to enter and exit the area. This makes sure the gates always remained latched and unlikely of them opening. 4 foot fence in the back with a 6 foot fence most of the front. Small section thats 4 ft.

1.6 fully fenced private acres. Off-road parking on grass for 4-5 vehicles available, plus more along the side of the road. Sniffspot is accessed by a large chained gate with combination lock. Our 3 dogs are occasionally in an adjacent fenced area. Although we put up a visual barrier in that area, they may bark when you are nearby. NEW in July: We just added a small pool under the water park sprinkler play feature - perfect for beating the summer heat! Also, we added a wooden bridge which is the perfect location for a photo op! We have a number of fun features for dogs, including three BIG tires to run through or jump on top of (dogs only please!), two smaller tires to run through, weave poles, a dirt pile, two tunnels, and a fire hydrant just for fun. There is a concrete table and bench seating plus 5 Adirondack chairs - bring your picnic lunch. Running water, dog bowls, and grocery bags for poop are available across the field from the entrance gate, along with a poop scoop and large trash can. Toys, bug spray, additional poop bags, and an umbrella are located inside the bench seat near the entrance. We can also host dog birthday parties, gotcha day parties, or breed/litter get-togethers! We live on five acres. Tucked away off of 27 or (SR 45) on a dirt road. If you are planning a day at the springs, we are located 20 min from Poe, blue, Ginnie and Rum Island springs. The property is not completely fenced. We have a picnic table under a muscadine grape vine or a open fire pit area to relax. If I am home I will give access to my restroom in my house. I have 2 small dogs, 2 cats, chickens, ducks and rabbits. They will be secured in enclosures before you arrive. I am starting a hobby pond, it does have a liner with water and pump, but that's it. Not great for swimming, but makes for a giant bone shaped water bowl. You can park next to carport and have fun with your fur baby. P.S. basket on side of carport will include doggie bags, hand sanitizer, bug spray for humans, doggie treats, cooler with cold water. I have water bowls available. Access to water hose as well. Old towels to clean paws and shoes.
