Zoomies: a high-speed, reckless, frantic, exhilarating, and completely unstoppable run. An outward showcase of inner happiness. In my role as a Rover sitter, I regularly care for dogs seeking heightened mental and physical engagement in contrast to the confines of apartment life. To address this, I've curated a secluded, shaded area in my backyard exclusively for you and your furry friend to unleash energy with minimal distractions from approaching dogs Understanding that dogs thrive when their innate needs are met, I've tailored the space accordingly. For sight hounds, there's a flirt pole to satisfy their urge to chase. Border collies can indulge their herding instincts with a dedicated herding ball, while scent hounds can engage in nose work with scattered treats across the area ( your own, or mine for additional charge) Consider this space your dog's personal playground, where they can exert themselves fully before returning to your apartment, assured of a restful night's sleep. Our collection of toys includes a flirt pole, bungee tethered tree tug, frisbee, Chuck It fetch arms, herding ball, and herding egg, with the exciting addition of a Swift Paws Course lure coming soon! For your convenience, we've arranged several amenities for your own comfort: - A dedicated π© bag station and trash can ensure cleanliness. You'll have access via a smart padlock for easy entry. Enjoy your favorite tunes with our Bluetooth speaker. - Keep your leash handy with our leash hanger. - Stay connected with WiFi access via QR code. - Relax in seating for two while your furry friend plays. - Convenient parking is available onsite. Please note that we have two dogs of our own, but they will be safely inside or fenced off on their side of the yard during your visit, ensuring a peaceful environment for you and your companion.
Hello, We would like to welcome our dog friends to our private fully fenced wooded dog park we named The North Star Ranch. The North Star is positioned right over our entrance, and you might see it if you stay at the ranch late. Our ranch currently has no land improvements, which means that youβll have to bring your own water, snacks, poo bags, and flashlights if you book early or late in the day. Also we have no trash collection, so please take your waste home with you. This is what we do as well. Consider a visit to our ranch a visit to nature that has been fenced in for your dogsβ convenience. And as in all Florida woods, there are some safety concerns you need to be aware of before your reservation. There are more or less visible stumps and vines all over the ranch. There are also some prickly cacti, buckthorn bushes and brambles. Tree logs and trunks have been arranged in some areas as edging for trails. The ranch is a work in progress and we are very slowly cutting prickly plants back to where they arenβt in dogsβ faces, but itβs taking us a while. So be prepared for an encounter with a gentle Florida wilderness. Long pants and closed toed shoes are very much needed! We also suggest tick spray if youβre worried about them. We find that in winter time they are very rare. There is a back gate at the ranch and we donβt suggest venturing out of, as the back of the property is NOT fenced, and trails are unkempt. Please stay in the fenced-in area only for your safety! We hope you and your dog enjoys lots of sniffing while youβre either strolling along or sitting down in one of our picnic chairs. We usually turn them sideways when we leave so they donβt collect rainwater. There are a couple cones and tires and poles around the sitting area and youβre welcome to rearrange them for your dogβs needs. We hope you enjoy our ranch as much us we do!
Unleash the zoomies in our beautifully maintained lawn area, perfect for fetching, frisbee, or just a good old-fashioned doggy playdate.πΎβοΈ Our convenient cul-de-sac location offers ample parking, making drop-off and pick-up a breeze. Enter through either fenced entrance and relax with plenty of seating while your pup explores.π«Ά And the best part? We offer refreshing pool access for your pup to cool down on a hot day! This is an EXTRA COST, please make sure to ADD to your reservation. π¦πΆπ¦΄
This is a completely fenced-in property with plenty of room for your fur babies to run and play while you relax under one of the 5 shade trees on site, or just lay out a picnic in the grass. The kids are also not left out, there is an on site petting zoo where your kiddos can meet with the goats, ducks, and chickens on site and have plenty of room to enjoy themselves. If you are looking for a quite, relaxing, spot then there is none better. See you soon.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IN ENTIRETY BEFORE BOOKING: This property is 1.7 acres total, but has approximately 1.5 acres of usable space for dog recreation. __________ Description The front yard is mostly shaded and grassy. The north yard has been planted in native plant species--please do not allow dogs to dig in this area or tear up the delicate native plants as it has taken a lot of time, money, and energy to semi-restore this area for native wildlife and pollinators. Its a great area for sniffing, running, and playing games of "ball search." There is a garden on the SW side of the property that is not fenced off from the rest of the yard, and a large mulched area behind it. Please keep dogs out of the garden beds, but running through the mulched area behind it is fine. _______ Wildlife There is a gopher tortoise burrow along the fenceline near the mulched area. Gopher tortoises are a state threatened species. It is a crime to disturb this state protected species, and dogs are one of the biggest threats to their populations. If ANY disturbance is found near the gopher tortoise burrow, the host WILL contact the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and pursue appropriate venues to press charges. KEEP DOGS AWAY FROM THE GOPHER TORTOISE AND ITS BURROW. The host of this property does not allow any harassment of native wildlife (with the exception of gray squirrels*) including moles, pocket gophers, snakes, and the resident gopher tortoise. *Chasing gray squirrels is alright, as they have become a nuisance to the solar panels and roof.* No venomous snakes have been seen on the property for at least 2 years, when the current owners bought the home, but the host recommends staying away from the mostly unused blue shed in the backyard, next to which there is wood piled, as this makes good escape cover for snakes, though none have been seen in this area yet. _________________________ Dog Wash and Training Area The chainlink fenced area behind the house is a training and wash area. There is some agility equipment laying in the porch and an area of rocks where you can bathe your dog. There is a hose and usually soap on the windowsill. A water station is also available in this area, though you may have to turn on the faucet. _________________ Dog Poop Cleanup A poop scoop is available in the dog wash area and a small, white poop trash bin is next to it. If the bin is full, or poop is far from this small cleanup station, use poop bags instead. Poop bags are available in the black, diamond-shaped dispenser to the left of the garage. Please place used poop bags in the large black trash bin by the gate on your way out. Other than that, enjoy your time here! You can find more pictures of the property @TheSalvagedSandhill on Instagram.
Fenced-in backyard with space for dogs to exercise. Water hose available. Plenty of seats around the fire pit. Lights at night. No indoor restrooms or covered space from rain so plan accordingly.
Our small farm is a perfect place for your furry (or not so furry) friends to enjoy the zoomies to their hearts content!!!
This is the fenced in backyard of my fatherβs house which is next to my house. He travels a lot so isnβt always home. Places to sit and screened porch as well if needed for shade or cover from rain. We own the vacant lot in between our houses so you can park in the driveway or can pull up in the grass of the lot right next to the gate of the backyard.
G2 Barn Hunt offers a 9 acre pasture with plenty of shade. A water trough with steps is provided for swimming as well as a fresh water bowl for drinking. It is completely fenced with field fence. Be aware of holes that dogs have dug going after moles. It is a great location for dogs to dig and run! I will be adding a hammock and a smaller trough in the near future. A trash can and dog bags are available. There is plenty of shaded parking under the beautiful live oaks! A porta-potty is on site. Lots of area for your dogs to have a blast and run around!
