***Charges are in USD*** We at BHS understand that letting your dog run and play is so important! But some dogs aren't suitable for dog parks or social areas. Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. Please feel free to use our deck area while your furry friend is sniffin’ around :) We have two dogs, a cane corso-great dane mix and a terrier mix. They’ll both be inside during your visit and cannot get outside. The terrier might be watching at the patio glass door but is friendly! The terrier is also a puppy and likes to dig holes in the yard - she is not allowed but persists! Please don’t let your dog to dig in these holes. There’s a water bowl outside we can fill up with tap water before your arrival. Lastly, the neighbourhood is very quiet and the yard gets lots of sun. There’s street parking available. Enjoy! Let your dog rule the realm. Race across the huge open lawn that’s perfect for zoomies, epic games of fetch, or simply stretching out in the sun. Slip into the magical microforest where shaded trails and natural sniffs await the curious explorer. Two picnic tables give humans their own perfect perches: one tucked privately in the forest, the other right in the heart of the sunny backyard so you never miss the action. Meander along the old miniature train track paths — right now they’re a winter wonderland under a blanket of snow, but come spring and summer they’ll be groomed into charming walking loops that add a touch of whimsy to every visit. The firepit is currently closed for its royal renovation and will return bigger, better, and ready for cozy evenings this spring. You’ll find everything taken care of: dedicated off-street parking in our private driveway, complimentary poop bags, garbage cans, and a tote stocked with extra toys and balls for your dog to claim as their own while they’re here. We’re brand-new hosts who are absolutely thrilled to open our gates.
