Welcome! Right now its VERY basic. We are looking add on more fun attractions. The booking includes a .25 acre of a fully fenced in area. This area provides ample space to play or just hang out with your dog. We are about 15 minutes outside of down town Winston-Salem. Just far enough away to feel like you are out in the country. Of course, we are bias, but the area is very peaceful. In sharing our land we hope to provide folks with a safe place that you can enjoy watching your dog explore and play. Amenties: - Dog toys / tennis balls, herding ball, and tug toys - Agility obstacles / a small set of cones and poles to jump over - Chairs / 3 lawn chairs - First aid kit / one for humans and one for dogs - Bug Spray - Hand Towels/ to dry off (no worries if they get muddy) - Wet wipes / to clean your dogs muddy paws - Poop Bags Please Note: When using the water hydrant, we are on a well! Because of being on a well we would appreciate you double checking to make sure the water is off before you depart :) We have changed the sniff spot listing slightly. Captain's Retreat at Bear Creek located off Highway 64 in Mocksville! 4.5 acres of fully fenced (woven mesh wire and post/rail 5.5ft to 6ft high) with trails, woods, field, and plenty of room to run and explore! Open the front gate and drive into the secure parking area. ***CLOSE AND LATCH THE GATE BEHIND YOU BEFORE GETTING YOUR DOGS OUT OF THE CAR!*** Walk through gate into the space from the secure parking area. This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Feel free to give your dog a shower/bath! ***Just added dog pool*** For use at no extra charge! Fill up/use if you'd like! (It's been stored for the fall/winter...but if you would like to use it...please let me know at time of booking) -Dog water bowl, dog brush, toys, treats, human and dog tick spray provided. All located in large deck box inside the gate. -Bring doggy towels in case of mud or bathing! -Porch swing and seating areas with a shed deck, gas grill, picnic table and hammock at the top of the property. -Chair/table area at the bottom of rock trail. Safe and Secure Space for Curious Pups

A delight for pups who love to sniff or herd! My play yard is fully fenced with extra guardrails in place to prevent jumping and digging to escape! For furry guests there are herding balls, frisbees and fresh water available year round. In the warmer months a sprinkler and kiddie pool are available. For human guests there is wifi, multiple chairs, and a hammock available. The play yard is natural with no pesticides or fertilizers and has an abundance of leaves that are perfect for sniffing and rolling in! A poop scoop is available for cleaning up after your pet. It is located near the entry gate.

Welcome to Doggy Pool Paradise! 🐶💦 The spot was started in honor of my sweet Bailey who passed away Easter weekend 2025 only 1 month shy of her 12th birthday. 💔 She was my soul dog and the primary reason I bought a house with a pool. Now I just want to see other dogs using it and having fun. 🐾🥰 We are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm weather permitting. $20 for one dog for the one-hour use of chemical balanced private pool- second hour is half price. This is a completely fenced area with deck, patio, sunroom and an 18x36 in-ground pool. Let your dog swim safely and securely in the saltwater pool Kiddie pool is also available for dogs who are unsure about the "Big" pool - set up, fresh water, and cleaning afterwards for a small extra fee. Choose this in the Extras section. Doggy life jackets in Small, Medium, Large, and XL are provided. Plenty of seating and shade available. Mini fridge with cold bottled water for only $1 each located in the sunroom (choose this in the Extras section). Fun Dog water toys, dog towels, large blue dog pool float "Woof", water bowls and pool ramp available to use at no extra charge. Please bring your own sunscreen. NOTE: Sorry, no bathroom is available for humans. Dogs must be current on Rabies vaccine and be on some sort of flea & tick preventative!! Proof of this must be sent to the host before your visit!! Screenshots are accepted. Poop bags & clean-up station provided near the gated entrance. All owners must pick up after their dogs in and out of the pool area!! Violators will not be allowed to return. There are security cameras on the premises. Max of two people (adults) per dog unless otherwise arranged with Host. NO children under the age of 16 permitted in the pool due to liability reasons! NO EXCEPTIONS! If you are bringing a child with you, they must sit on the side of the pool or in a chair and watch the dogs swim. They are NOT allowed in the pool under any circumstances!! If You are bringing more than one dog, they must already know each other and get along!You must also choose this in the extras section and pay the appropriate fees ahead of time. It is highly recommended that you brush your dog before your visit. If excessive fur in the filter becomes a problem then this sniff spot will unfortunately no longer be available. Named after my sweet heeler Honey Pie, the Honey Spot is a sweet fully fenced quarter acre yard with some big trees in a convenient location (Guilford Hill neighborhood). The back is lined with 6 ft wooden fencing, and the rest with 4 ft chain link fencing. There is plenty of room for your pup to run around and play safely! There are no weak spots in any of the fencing. Parking is on the street, just walk up the driveway (being careful not to walk up my neighbor’s driveway which is closer to the street corner). You’ll see the gate at the end of the driveway. Poop bags, water, had sanitizer and tennis balls are provided.

Gravel driveway with room for a few cars to park. Plenty of grass to run and play in. The yard has a gradual slope to it, not perfectly flat. There's a nice, big pavilion with a few camping chairs for people to sit in the shade, as well as, a couple of large trees to provide shade for doggie rest breaks. There are lots of sticks available for chewing or fetching. Host works from home and will stay inside unless help is requested! We're so happy to invite pet-owners and their dogs into our space and see them enjoy it as much as we do! Shelter volunteers are also welcome to bring shelter dogs for a "Dog Day Out"! Please read dog details for important info to note for potentially reactive dogs. We are working on improving stays for future visitors so please provide feedback on what you think would be great to add to our spot! Hopefully you have an amazing time here!
