Zeke's Playground

Fully Fenced
3 acres

About 3.5 acres fenced in, some yard, some woods for your dogs to explore. A hiking trail as well. On weekdays we would prefer 4-8 hours notice so we can make sure our dogs are secured in the house. We have dog toys for your use just please return them to the tote after use. Sometimes we have trees fall on our fence, if you see it let us know so we can fix it asap. We recently got a trampoline, due to liability issues, the trampoline is strictly off limits.

Black Dog Farmstead Beach

Unfenced
0.5 acres

Welcome to our private dog beach on the Buffalo River - the ultimate summer SniffSpot! The river is slow moving, clear, shallow and all sand. It is about 1-2 feet deep near our beach, and deeper on the opposite side of the river. In heavy rain, it ebbs and flows in depths. It is a very safe place to wade, play fetch, dig in the sand, teach dogs about water or just hang out on a warm day. You will park and walk to the beach on mowed trails through our woods about 600 feet to the beach. It is completely secluded on a beautiful bend in the river where you will be surrounded by woods. Watch for eagles, hawks, Sandhills cranes, ducks and many songbirds overhead. The SniffSpot availability is limited to the beach only, and not the rest of our property.

Frequently asked questions about Black River Falls dog parks

Are there dog parks in Black River Falls for reactive dogs?

Yes! Black River Falls has 86 private dog parks specifically designed for reactive, anxious, or dog-selective pets. Unlike public dog parks where unexpected encounters can trigger your reactive dog, Sniffspot offers completely private bookings. That means only you and your dogs will be there. We enforce 30-minute buffers between visits so you won't run into other park users when arriving or leaving. This makes Black River Falls Sniffspots perfect for reactive dogs who need safe off-leash exercise.

How many private dog parks are in Black River Falls?

Black River Falls has 86 private Sniffspot locations ranging from cozy backyard spaces to expansive properties spanning 150+ acres. You'll find small dog parks, dog fields, and dog water parks options, each offering complete privacy during your reserved time. Browse listings to compare sizes, amenities, fencing, and reviews from other Black River Falls dog owners.

Are Black River Falls dog parks friendly for all dog types?

Absolutely! Black River Falls Sniffspot locations work for every type of dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer away from large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space to run, and yes, reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. Because bookings are completely private, you can customize the experience to your dog's specific needs—whether that's careful puppy introductions or stress-free exercise for nervous dogs.

Will there be other dogs at Black River Falls dog parks?

No, that's what makes Sniffspot different from public dog parks! We only allow one booking at a time, and host dogs must be kept away during your visit. When you book a Black River Falls dog park, you have the entire space to yourself (plus any dog-owning friends you invite). This privacy is crucial for reactive dogs, puppies in training, or any dog who needs space from other animals.

What makes Black River Falls dog parks safe for anxious dogs?

Black River Falls Sniffspot locations provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. There are no aggressive dogs, no inattentive owners, and no unexpected encounters that could traumatize anxious or fearful dogs. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars, with many highlighting how safe their reactive or anxious dogs felt.

Can puppies use Black River Falls dog parks?

Absolutely! Black River Falls dog parks are ideal for puppy socialization because they provide controlled, distraction-free environments. Puppies can practice recall, build confidence, and explore without the overwhelming chaos of public dog parks. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting any Black River Falls Sniffspot.

Are Black River Falls dog parks good for small dogs?

Yes! Many Black River Falls Sniffspot hosts mark their spaces as "small dog friendly," meaning they're appropriately sized for toy breeds and small dogs. Unlike public dog parks where small dogs risk being overwhelmed or injured by larger breeds, Black River Falls private bookings give your small dog the entire space to themselves. Look for secure fencing with minimal gaps and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

What are the requirements for Black River Falls dog parks?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. Each Black River Falls host may have additional requirements listed on their booking page. Most welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit traditional public dog parks.
