Joanne's 15 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Southampton

Partially Fenced
15 acres

Hi! I’m Joanne, and this is my dog Nifty’s favorite place in the world—so I thought I’d share it. We have 15 private acres with woods, open fields, and river access, and it’s been such a gift for my dog to have a safe space to run freely. I know not every dog thrives at dog parks, so I wanted to create a peaceful alternative. This space is especially loved by dogs who need a little extra room or prefer a quieter environment. Near the cabin, there’s a cozy seating area where you can relax under the trees while your dog enjoys the space. We’re so happy to share this space with you and your pup! It’s meant to feel simple, calm, and restorative—for both of you.

Christina's Private Dog Park In Avon with water access!

Unfenced
0.5 acres

A little over a half acre of unfenced in yard. Our property includes roaring brook that runs through the back - my dogs love swimming there! We also have a public trail that runs through our yard and our neighbors on the street (not really maintained but walkable for sure- we call it bear highway since that’s all we see using it.) We also have a playground available for dogs & kids alike. We also added a covered gazebo for additional seating or shade. We do have a kiddie pool we can fill and leave out as well. We also have a smaller fenced in area in our middle lot where our dogs do not play and do not have access to. There are chairs there to sit if you need and a fire pit! Our property is set back from the road quite a bit. You come down the long driveway and you would park in front of our skeleton where the driveway turns from rock to pavement. You are welcome to pull down as far as you want to the water by the tree line. We have doggie poop bags by the garage and you can throw any trash in the green bin by the road (it’s bear proof so anything is fine!). We hope to host you soon :) Ps: our ‘lovely’ neighbor recently put up a white fence in the lower lot- please do not cross that. You are welcome to walk the path the other way though! ;)

Frequently asked questions about Bristol dog water parks

What do private dog water parks in Bristol offer that public parks don't?

Private dog water parks in Bristol offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for swimming and water play, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Bristol can't guarantee any of this. With 46 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Bristol?

Yes! Most of Bristol's 46 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Bristol listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting dog water parks in Bristol?

Puppies can visit Bristol dog water parks as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore swimming and water play without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Bristol trainers specifically use dog water parks for puppy development.

How do I find private dog water parks near me in Bristol?

Browse Bristol's 46 dog water parks on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Bristol listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Big Dog's 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Shelton is particularly popular among Bristol dog owners.

Can I rent dog water parks in Bristol by the hour?

Yes! All 46 dog water parks in Bristol are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Bristol dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot dog water parks and public dog parks in Bristol?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Bristol mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 46 Bristol dog water parks give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys swimming and water play and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor dog water parks in Bristol?

Yes! Bristol has climate-controlled indoor dog water parks perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Bristol locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Bristol weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Bristol dog water parks help with dog training?

Bristol trainers love dog water parks because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice water confidence building, dock diving practice, or swimming-based fitness training, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for swimming and water play.
