As water activities are now closed for the season we are using our stock tank to house most of our toys so that the dogs can jump in to play or choose one for yard play. Welcome to our Sniffspot area in Sturbridge (Fiskdale) MA. We are excited to provide an off leash play space for your furry bestie. **Winter alert: Other than a path from the driveway, the Sniffspot area is not shoveled and can be VERY icy and/or snow covered!! Conveniently located close to the Massachusetts Turnpike and Rte 84. The Sniffspot area is in a quiet residential, wooded area. There is a sportsman's club a ways down the road, and if there is an event, occasionally, the range can be audible. Most dogs have been completely unbothered by it. Last minute reservations are ok, but please understand, with minimal notice, we may not have the opportunity to completely refresh the play space. Please utilize the message option for questions and updates.

Pepper is a friendly 6 year old female black lab, who loves new meeting & playing with new friends, if you & your pup are interested! *please inquire, otherwise private yard!* Plenty of toys for the dogs and seating for the humans! There is a dog bowl with fresh water upon your arrival as well as doggie bags and trash for disposal. Please clean up after your visit, thank you! 

Groverland

The pool is open!! Please remember - it needs to be added as an “extra” and there is a limit of 3 dogs in the pool for the longevity of our filter and pump :) Groverland is a 2 acre fenced yard so you and your furry friend(s) have plenty of room to roam. Please be sure the gate latches when you come in and when you leave. We live next to a very busy road and want to ensure everyone's safety! We have toys in a bin on the steps to the deck. Feel free to use them, but please put them back when you are done. There are poop bags and wet wipes on the toy station as well. The poop bucket is next to the gate you came in. Water dishes will be on the pavers between the pool and the house. Use of the pool is an add on, so please be sure to mark that when you make your reservations. We will provide towels, pool toys, and life jackets for your use. Please hang the towels and life jackets on the fence when you have completed your visit. We do ask that you keep barking to a minimum. I have grumpy neighbors who disapprove of the Spot :) We are open from 10am - 4pm, but will sometimes make exceptions, so feel free to ask. Now for the Debbie Downer part - as the spot has gotten more popular, we are seeing things getting damaged and, as a result, have added a few rules. If you damage something, please let us know so we can address it. Things happen, so do not worry, we just need to know so we take care of it before the next guest. Pool rules: 1) No dogs on the pool furniture 2) Please do not prop the pool gate open Let us know if you have any questions!

**Spring/Summer: The times of day with the most shade are 8:30a-11a and after 4p. The yard is in complete shade after 6:30 pm. Middle of the day 11:30a-2:30p is the most sunny time. Welcome! Sniffspot holds a special place in my heart. My dog, Bran, is reactive and it was a life saver having a safe space to bring him and his sister, Miss Honey, to play! This is a fully fenced (5' fencing) K-9 Agility park. There are a large variety of jumps, tunnel, weave poles, teeter, and Pause Table on premise. We have outdoor solar spotlights for after daylight hours use. With temperatures dropping into the 20's at night now, we have removed the hose station until Spring when it becomes warmer again. Your pup can follow their sniffer straight from the open yard, unleash their inner mountain goat on the rocks, and into the wooded area well beyond the rocks—all safely within a fully fenced space. Please help yourself to a Complimentary Pup Cup as a thank you for allowing us to be your host! Our fencing includes: • 5’ wrought-iron fence along the front of the property for a secure, stylish entrance • 4’ welded-wire fencing along the sides and through the entire wooded back area, with posts cemented deep into the ground for added stability. • Welded wire fence is meant to blend in. It isn't visible until you are closer up, but rest assured, the woods are fully enclosed and extends far beyond the rocks. Whether your dog is a sprinter, a sniffer, or a nature-lover, this spot is built for adventure. Come play! ***Please feel free to message me before your visit should you have any specific questions.

NOTE we have had a few recent issues with folks being sent to the wrong location while using Apple Maps. If you are having trouble locating us we suggest using Waze or Google Maps as an alternative. The driveway is well marked with Sniffspot signs. Fully fenced, lightly wooded yard, about an acre. Paths around perimeter and throughout. Barn with kennels in case you need to separate dogs or get in out of the weather. Plenty of shade. The property contains many boulders, tree stumps, logs and leaves for your dog to explore, and lots of room to run. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots and watch your step. There may be roots, rocks, holes or the occasional poop hiding under the leaves. Several of our guests have seen deer on the path to the SniffSpot gate. We strongly recommend keeping your dogs leashed until you are safely inside the fenced area.

Welcome to the doggy & owner oasis. You can entertain your fur babies on a .5 acre fully fenced, private, flat yard. If you run out of energy faster than your dog, let them explore while you relax on the deck either in the sunlight on cushioned chairs, or under the covering providing shade and an outdoor sectional! There is a hose with water available upon request for dog bathing - (bring your own shampoo and towel). There will be poo bags, a pooper scooper and trash bucket available for cleanup after your pup(s) has done their business. Bug spray available upon request. Please note, two dogs reside inside the home. You should not see them, may hear them bark at times. The home is on a cul-de-sac and typically pretty private while still close to and convenient to so much! Bluff Point State Park, restaurants, pet stores, etc!

There is a hose for filling up dog bowls (please just ensure it is turned back off!). At the back of the yard, there is a gate leading out into woods/conservation area that can also be explored. If you bring kids, we have a small playhouse on the patio with some toys inside, along with two slides in the middle of the yard. Just ask for the WiFi password!
