****IMPORTANT : all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** Come and enjoy a beautiful 1.5 km walk through mature oak and white pine forest in the Oak Hills. Our trail is wide, perfect to bring a friend and catch up while your dogs run. The trail is well-marked with excellent visibility to keep track of your dog(s). There is very little elevation gain on the walk, so it’s well-suited to take your dog(s) out for a run or a leisurely stroll. Deer sightings are common and you may even spot our resident owl or the bald eagles that nest nearby. Ample parking is available at the trail head and a Little Free Library is located at the end of our driveway. Bring a book and take a book! We are a short trip from both Belleville and Quinte West. Our location, just ten minutes from a Hwy 401 exit (Wallbridge Loyalist Road) makes us a perfect puppy pit stop on your next road trip. *June-September Info: bug spray is provided at the trailhead for your way into the woods, and you’ll find a lint roller and duct tape to check for ticks for your way out. Consider wearing long pants, socks, and closed toe shoes, as you may encounter poison ivy. We are a true Ontario forest experience.

Welcome to Durham Regions only Sniffspot with in ground salt water pool, and fully fenced 1 acre grass yard! 6 ft high privacy fence allowing your dog to zoom around the whole 1 acre backyard! 🤩 We absolutely love dogs, having 5 rescue dogs of our own, we know how tough it can be to find a safe and secure property for them to run and enjoy themselves! So we created our own little backyard heaven for them and would love to share it with others ! Whether it be your dog needs lots of space to run, or prefers to take it slow and sniff around, maybe they are a bit shy or reactive to other dogs/people, our backyard is the perfect space for them to relax, feel safe and explore on their own terms! Lakes in Ontario are often full of high levels of 🦠 bacteria, which can be harmful to pets, don’t risk it, stay safe by bringing them to the pool ☺️ We do have 5 dogs, so you may hear some barking from inside, but there will be NO visible or personal contact from our dogs. Pool- if you would like to use the pool with your dog, we would be happy to have you come kick back and relax 😎 This is an additional fee per person per hour and must be booked in the “extra” section when booking in your dog(s) We will provide a towel and float for you! 🥰 4 people max, and for 2 hours max. (longer bookings can be accommodated please message to book) No children under 3 in the pool please. No alcohol permitted on the property. They also take 22% off the top from us. We looked at a local kennel close to us with a pool, and seen they charge $20 for 20 minutes. So total it would be $60 for an hour. Plus there are lots of other dogs at the facility which doesn’t work well if you have a reactive dog. We on the other hand are 100% private just for you, and our prices are per hour not just 20 minutes. We wanted to price ourselves as fairly as we could to cover our cost, while still staying as cheap as we could for your pet! 🥰 Safety note- You are fully responsible and liable for your personal safety, your kids safety, and your dogs Safety while in the pool and/or on the property and by booking you acknowledged this and have agreed to this. If you are OK with this possibility of seeing two gardeners off of the main walking path, feel free to book whenever. If not, I recommend the booking in the morning or later in the evening. *** Text 905-242-4418 for any questions or other inquiries. 10 acre property, approximately 5 acres of dog friendly area. Path around the pond and into the back of the property where there is woods. The back of the property is less maintained and it is only recommended to go back there if you wish to explore and are sure to be safe with your dog on leash, just because the previous owners of the property left some car debris back there that may be harmful to dogs if they are not careful. We take our three Chihuahuas here all the time with no issues. We’ve taken them to the back as well, but usually just stay to the maintained area around the pond. People have heard coyotes and seen coyote trails on the property so if you have a small dog, it is recommended to be on leash just in case. Pond is great for dogs to swim, relatively clean water that our dogs and ourselves swim in. Pond also has an island in the middle, which makes for a cool place for dogs to swim to. Be sure to wash dogs after as there is poison ivy or oak on the island that could stick on dogs fur. Tree farm is not our property please stay off!
