Acker's 10 Acre Private Dog Park In Afton

Fully Fenced
10 acres

We are about a quarter mile off the main road and our 10 acres go deeper into the woods. We have about 5 acres of wooded areas and 5 acres of open trails. It is a beautiful and private property. The property is 100% fenced- the fencing is 3 feet high- there is a gate in the driveway, once closed it is completely fenced in. We have water available for dogs- due to the cold weather, please message me if you want water available during your visit and I will put it out ahead of time if I am home.

7 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Lindstrom

Fully Fenced
7 acres

Our property is a dog’s paradise! We have an open backyard, wooded trails, and an orchard out back with tall grasses. We keep the trails and orchard mowed for walking, but your dog will have ample woods, puddles, and other adventures at their disposal! Since we live in the woods, we occasionally have trees fall down on our 5 foot welded wire fence. Please be mindful if your dog is an exit seeker, although we walk the fence and mend any spots we see often. There is a large pole barn visible near the gate where you enter that is our neighbor’s yard. His yard/barn is not visible from the rest of the property once you’re down the path a little ways. For SPRING/SUMMER months, tics and mosquitos are around. We do not spray our land, so make sure you and your pup have the protection you need. In summer mosquitos are often worse near dawn and at dusk, especially in thicker parts of the woods, and less so in the backyard and orchard areas. In the winter, we snowmobile our trails to keep them walkable! There may be slippery spots here and there, so prepare accordingly! Be sure to look ahead at the roads on MN 511 in case of winter weather.

Opportunity Woods Private Dog Park In Ridgeland

Fully Fenced
5 acres

Opportunity Woods offers 5+ acres of hilly woods and long grass meadow surrounded by a secure 6 foot fence. Several benches are placed along the rustic trails, but of course, there is no need to stay on a trail! A water bowl can be found and filled from the human-potable water hydrant, where you will also find a wading pool for dog and human use in summer. There is a roofed picnic/shade shelter just up the hill from the hydrant. Take in the serene view of the surrounding area, and get a Birdseye view of Opportunity Farm, where sheep graze the nearby paddocks. Wire-wheel tables and chairs are available for relaxing, hanging out with your dog, having a picnic, a birthday party with your dog's pals or watching a dramatic rising or setting of a full moon. Have your dog invite their friends to join in the fun, or have a private play date just with you!

10 Beautiful Acres with River 12 minutes from Hudson WI

Fully Fenced
18 acres

12/31/25 update: I have tried to maintain a plowed trail, but the wind gusts are doing everything they can to stop me. The field has snow drifts over the trail. PARKING only at the barn/field entrance. You will not be able to drive into the field until after snow melt and once the ground firms up, likely in late April to mid May. We have a beautiful piece of land with a (mostly) fenced perimeter and 1/3 acre fully fenced doggy play area. If you drive in by the picnic table you are in the center of 18 acres to play on and will be quite a distance from the road. There are mowed walking paths to the beautiful Kinnickinnic river, far away from other people and animals. You and your dog will love it here! The river is cold and easy for dogs to hop in and out, (not easy for humans right now). If you want to keep them out of the water there is about 10 acres of open field where you park, separate and above the river so you don't need to have them down by the water at all. (although most dogs gravitate to there!)

Frequently asked questions about Center City dog hiking trails

What amenities do Center City dog hiking trails typically include?

Center City dog hiking trails feature amenities designed for natural exploration and varied terrain: woods, hiking trail and scenic views, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Center City hosts customize their spaces. Browse 11 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

Can I find dog hiking trails in Center City with water access?

Many Center City dog hiking trails include water features! Filter by amenities to find swimming pools, natural ponds, or water play areas. Water is perfect for hot Center City days, water-loving breeds, or low-impact exercise for seniors and disabled dogs. Each listing specifies water type, depth, and safety features. Some Center City hosts provide life vests or shallow options for nervous swimmers.

How clean are private dog hiking trails in Center City compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Center City see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog hiking trails have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Center City hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Center City dog hiking trails on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Center City dog hiking trails offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Center City private dog hiking trails let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog hiking trails in Center City?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Center City that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Center City dog hiking trails have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Center City dog hiking trails allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Center City dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Center City where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Center City dog hiking trails for special events?

Many Center City dog hiking trails welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Center City hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Center City dog hiking trail listings for event policies.

How do Center City dog hiking trails accommodate dogs with special needs?

Center City dog hiking trails are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Center City special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
