We don’t want a stray hunting dog to interfere with someone’s Sniffspot time. So we made the decision to close for 2 months. We’re sorry, it was a tough decision, but think it’s best. We promise - We’ll reopen in December 2025. Welcome to 50 acres of puppy heaven! Located off Crittenden Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Please take dirt lane, there is no house. Please do not disturb neighbors. Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. We have a fully fenced back yard. Chain link on all sides except one side that is privacy fence. There is a plastic kiddie pool with hose access if your pup likes to play in water. Also hose access for drinking water. There are two covered seating areas for your comfort while your pup plays and explores. The above ground pool is secured with locked stairs. We do have a chicken coop and the chickens remain in their run that is fully secured. Poop bags are provided for your convenience and there are several trash cans available for disposal. We will do our best to ensure our own dog’s poop is picked up as well. Our dog will be inside and secured at the time of your booking.

You can cook, have a picnic, hang out in the woods (currently a burn ban no fires at this time but gas is fine) hang a hammock relax or walk around and explore. I allow my dog to swim in the pond that is at your own risk I would not personally swim in it as a human but I think dogs are fine to swim in there just be careful there are going to be ticks, wildlife and it is a very woodsy grassy environment, very nature outside oriented. Bug spray may be necessary. Hang out in the woods or by the field/pond. Bushcraft ok but no chopping down live trees. You can walk around the edge of the field or walk around a little bit in the woods there are no really long trails but there is plenty of area to hang out and explore. Play ball etc.

This is in Kingsmill a gated community but just give the guard your name and Malone at 17 Whittakers and I will have you on my guest list. If you want directions from either gate to my house in addition to your gps the guard will do that too.
