Sunrise Hill Private Adventure Park for Dogs In Riverside

Welcome to our little Adventure Park for Dogs! As you arrive, you will park alongside our quiet street on graded dirt that may be slightly uneven in certain areas. You are visiting a residential home. You'll enter the property using the smaller, side gate and walk your pet(s) on a leash along the driveway until you reach a small, white gate to the right. Once you pass through this gate and it is properly latched behind you, you may unleash your pet. There are steps down to the play space. **Most of the land your pet will play on is uneven** **Land is green from first rain until summer, brown during summer until first rain** **3 goats roam the play space when not in use by dogs.** **We are fellow dog-lovers! During your visit, our dogs (and goats) will be enclosed about 50 feet uphill and away from main play space with two of layers of vegetation and fences in between. Their enclosure is located on the far side of the home behind a different fence that cuts off the NW corner of the yard (see photos). If you’re dog roams this area, know it is fully enclosed. We do have signs that discourage use of this area to maximize privacy and minimize distractions. Other details: The rental area is to the right of the driveway and is fenced in by a 3ft fence along two sides, and a 4ft chain link fence on the other two sides. The area is about 3/4 acre. It includes plenty of room for your pup to run, jump and play! There are small hills, trees, and huge boulders. Natural lighting only. Under the second deck there are hammock swings guests may use. Please, no pets on swings. Visitors may also utilize the deck closest to the house, but pets must be leashed on the deck, as it is overlooking the play space and is not part of the fenced area. We may or may not be home. We do not typically interact with visitors to maximize your privacy, but would love to meet you if requested! If you have any questions, comments or concerns before/during/after your visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out via the communication tool in the app. We very much value your visit and feedback! We hope you enjoy your visit!!

Such a nice backyard for your pup to get some exercise. My boxer got tired running up and down the hill in 30 minutes. The backyard is clean too! It’s like a mini forest :) we’ll be returning!

Very nice and spacious yard with tall landscaping. My dog had a blast climbing and sniffing the landscape. The only thing I will add for those reactive dog parents, there is a fence at the very back of the property that you can see through and there are other dogs and those dogs can come up to the fence. The homeowner tried to block off the connection with some tree stumps, but if you have an agile dog like I do, they can easily get over. So if you have reactive dogs be aware of this little part of the fence in the back. Otherwise, Dante and I enjoyed our time here. He was exhausted at the end! 🥰

Marvel had a great time. Lamar’s yard is very big . Marv came back home exhausted after running up and down the hill. So many places to sniff and discover. Even though there were dogs at the neighbors , it didn’t bother her. Just had quick “conversation”, and went back to her sniffing and running.

This yard is like Disney for dogs. So much to sniff, explore, and space to run! There is even shade for pet parents who want to sit.

My pup and and I had a blast at this sniff spot. Lots of new smells, places to run and jump around! The fences were all secure and she had a brief friendly encounter with the neighbor dog, then it was back to our play time. Will definitely be returning here!

My pups trip here was a blast for her. The backyard has an incline she loved running up and down on. It also gave her a good view that she would take the time to look over the homes below. There was also necessities such as doggie bags, a water bowl, and some toys. Overall, the place is pretty and the hill is a good way to exercise a dog for the day.

Great open space, feels like you're out in the woods. There is a neighbor dog who will want to bark hello, fyi. After the official exchange of barks through the shared fence, all dogs retreated and went about their own business.

My girl Clover had so much fun running around and sniffing everything she could. We were so happy to see her stretch her legs out off leash and do her thing. She was so tired by the end, she immediately knocked out in the car! Would definitely come back to this spot. Note for reactive dog owners: the neighboring property has 2 dogs - 1 of which barks a lot and will come running up to the side of the fence at times.
