55Our first time at Debbie's sniff spot was a blast! The property is beautiful and well-maintained, huge yard with plenty of shade trees, and the pond was even bigger (and cleaner!) than I was expecting. Josie had so much fun, she didn’t want to leave. We will absolutely be back! Madison P.

55Still one of our favorite spots near New Orleans! Lots of room to run and the pond is my dogs’ favorite feature. We unfortunately had to cut this visit short due to an incoming thunderstorm (one dog is terrified of thunder). Looking forward to our next visit and hopefully better weather.Mandy P.

55Unbelievably gorgeous property. Both dogs and I had a blast exploring the grounds, crossing the little walking bridges, and checking out the beach and the water. Yes, there's a beach! Plenty of space to stretch, run, and play. My younger dog does not have 100% recall yet so I keep him on a 30 ft long line at these partially fenced spots and he did just fine with that. In fact, both were out like lights for the ride back to New Orleans. We will be back!Gretchen S.

55My dogs had fun tiring themselves out! I didn’t expect I would also be tired out too! Both the older (3y, 80#) and younger (1y, 65#) adolescents had a great time sniffing the shoreline and galloping/paddling in the water. Even the smallest dog (36#) who doesn’t like water seemed to tolerate our walk through the creek well. Maybe I’ll bring her pool float next time! I was surprised by how bad they smelled after the water though and will bring some water to rinse with before loading up at future visits.
I assumed the unfenced part of the property would be the beach. However, at the rear of the sniffspot the adjacent property is separated by a sparse treeline and my younger teen was able to enter that property while I was picking up some poops. 😬 He’s become reactive toward unknown dogs + his prey drive is pretty strong, so I’ll be sure to keep him on his long line in that area just in case there’s a surprise dog or wildlife visible/heard there next time (or at least until we finish muzzle conditioning).
Also, I really appreciate how helpful and generous Stacey was when we needed a little extra care after entering the address incorrectly while rushing to get there after work, Covington construction traffic, etc. Alayna J.

55Okay, so I’ve had the pleasure of adventuring with my two pups around much of the US and we’ve enjoying many sniffspots at home and in other states. This is my favorite to date! What a phenomenal property! The dogs and I all had the best time. I brought their long lines to ensure they didn’t get too carried away with excitement and swim downstream, but took them off relatively quickly after getting a sense of water speed and depth which was more manageable (for two water-loving dogs) than I anticipated. We train search and rescue dogs and there’s such a variety of landscape to work with. Acres of cleared land, beautiful ponds and bridges, and the beach with the river. They are so nice and the property is the best Sniffspot around.
It’s not fully fenced but it’s pretty secure and not close to the road or anything. The beach part is pretty secure too- large enough to run and play but not too large for them to get out of sight (assuming they don’t go downstream in the river). The open fields are pretty secure as well with clear boundary lines (woods/fence on some and the bridge to cross over to the driveway). Wouldn’t recommend if your dog has no recall but for our puppies were training with stubborn recalls it was perfectly safe!
10/10 recommend (unless you’re not polite and don’t pickup poop or have unvaccinated dogs etc in which case don’t come bc we love our perfect hidden gem of a Sniffspot and don’t want it ruined haha) Katie D.
