There is approximately 0.5 acre that is fully fenced and a 3-5 acre field, unfenced, with paths cut through long grasses on rolling hills. You can use either or both spaces during your reserved time.

This is privately owned land in Chelsea and will allow you to take your dog for a run in a mowed area with sections of long grass and also for a run through the woods. The wooded area has a significant amount of wetland that the doggies love to get filthy in so bring towels if you expect your dogs to run in the woods. You may see deer and other wild animals on the property. This is an awesome spot to take your pupper out in the wilds for a truly unique dog park experience. My puppers have a blast whenever we bring them out - and so does my 15 year old son. Please be careful on the wooded path as there are a lot of trip hazards in the form of dead trees and logs.

Welcome! We are working hard to make our peaceful, quiet 12 acres into a beautiful park. You are welcome at any time, day or night, to walk, run, bike, ski or snowshoe with your dogs. We no longer have any pets-- no more dogs, horses, chickens, or other livestock. We are often visited by deer and groundhogs. Although we have 12 acres, the house and barn are in the middle of it, so you may see the house from many areas during your visit. Usually, we are working inside or we are away and we keep most of the curtains closed. We may use the driveway or receive a delivery. Future plans include clearing the West trails, planting more evergreens, and making an indoor play space in the barn. Our park will continue to improve -- it is a work in progress! A Field with Milkweed and lots of butterfly's Iin the sumner and beautiful snows in the winter. .There is plenty of shade and places to cool off, including use of hose to fill pool. Would like to fill only 1/4 oif the way then empty when finished. I will put a fla by the faucet for hose. HOSE NEEDS TO BE TURNED OFF when done filling pool VERY IMPORTANT. Please do not allow off leashe dogs to approach my kennels. Training will be in process with other dogs in building. Property is also groomed against ticks , mosquitoes, or other pests. I run a training/boarding facility for dogs so we have a person that works with MSU for safe and effective treatment for ticks, bugs, fleas or other common nuisances in our region. Your dogs safety is our priority.

The path takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete, but don’t be surprised if your pup has other plans! An unexpected smell, interesting patch of grass, or exciting discovery can easily turn a 10-minute walk into a much longer adventure. 🐾🌼 The entire area is relatively flat, with the only real difference being the length of the grass and the wildflower areas. Whether your pup wants to run full speed, play fetch, wander at their own pace, or stop every few feet to investigate something fascinating, we hope this space gives them the freedom to simply enjoy being a dog.
