55My dogs loved the space and it is set up well for dogs and well maintained. We had two issues during our visit, although one is probably just due to my horribly naughty but clever dog. The first is that the combination lock was very tough to close/lock again. It’s probably due to the recent rains, but multiple minutes were spend when coming and going trying to get it shut and locked again.
The second issue, which seems to be specific to my dog, is that the gate into the dog run opened somehow while we were there and my dog, who is prone to bolting and selectively using his recall skills, sprinted out of the open gate and was able to get down to Elk River Rd and run through neighboring properties. When we arrived, both my mother and I tried to force the gate open by shaking it and pushing it before letting the dogs off-leash and it seemed perfectly secure. Somehow, my other dog seems to have opened it because she was standing next to an open gate when I turned towards her about 30ish minutes into our time. In addition to the typical gate latch, there is a chain with a hook, which we had not noticed or used when arriving so this may have all been user error. My sincere apologies to the host and their neighbors for our “adventure” while I tried to track him down and get a hold of him. Katherine A.

55We have a reactive dog and it is really hard to find places that are truly secluded. This is one of them. We took the dogs here for the ones birthday and they had a blast. The place is well kept with poop bags, proper scooper, trash can, and the grass is kept short. We will add this to our regular rotation. Brittany T.
