Frank's Place - 5 Acres of Play Space

Fully Fenced
5 acres

Welcome to our private, fully fenced 5-acre Sniffspot on Frank Road, designed for safe off-leash play and relaxed exploring. This is a quiet, secure space where dogs can run freely, sniff to their hearts’ content, and enjoy real outdoor enrichment without the stress of public dog parks. Many guests find it ideal for reactive dogs, shy dogs, high-energy dogs, or dogs that simply love having room to roam. The property includes a mix of open running areas and natural tree-lined spaces, giving dogs variety while owners enjoy mountain views, peaceful surroundings, and benches for resting. The entire area is fully fenced so you can relax while your dog explores. You’ll find poop bags and a trash bucket provided, and there is plenty of space to wander at your own pace. My own dogs are small dachshunds, so I pay attention to secure fencing and safe access for small dogs as well as large dogs. If this is your first visit, take a moment to browse the photos to see the layout and features, and read the reviews to hear what other visitors and their dogs enjoy most. When you're ready, choose a time and book a visit — we’d love to host you.

The Oregon Trail (Dog trail by Sedalia, CO)

Unfenced
30 acres

Private Mountain Forest Dog Adventure – Creek, Trails & Total Privacy. Let your dog explore 30 acres of private Colorado mountain forest with fresh air, tall pines, and peaceful trails. A groomed trail leads about ½ mile through Douglas fir and Ponderosa pine down to a quiet open creek area where dogs can run, explore, and cool off in the water.  -Can be muddy pending season (bring towel in case) The forest canopy keeps much of the trail shaded, and the creek area is often cooler on warm summer days, making it a great escape from the heat. This spot is perfect for dogs that love space, freedom, and the smells of the forest. Many guests come back regularly because their dogs can relax, roam, and explore without crowds. Wildlife are sometimes seen in the area, which adds to the peaceful mountain experience. Property Details • Approximately 30 acres of private forested land • Groomed walking trail leading to creek area • Shaded mountain terrain with beautiful views • Year-round creek access for dogs to drink or splash. Good to Know • This is a natural mountain property with uneven terrain, some areas are steep. • The property is unfenced • The county road forms the upper boundary and the creek forms the lower boundary • No smoking or open flames anywhere on the property due to wildfire risk • Please supervise dogs around the creek • Guests must have a completed Sniffspot profile with dog photos Winter time the small splash pond is drained during winter for safety, but the creek flows year-round.

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Fountain Valley see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog hiking trails have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Fountain Valley hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Fountain Valley dog hiking trails on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Fountain Valley dog hiking trails offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Fountain Valley private dog hiking trails let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog hiking trails in Fountain Valley?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Fountain Valley that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Fountain Valley dog hiking trails have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Fountain Valley dog hiking trails allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Fountain Valley dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Fountain Valley where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Fountain Valley dog hiking trails for special events?

Many Fountain Valley dog hiking trails welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Fountain Valley hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Fountain Valley dog hiking trail listings for event policies.

How do Fountain Valley dog hiking trails accommodate dogs with special needs?

Fountain Valley dog hiking trails are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Fountain Valley special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
