55This was an excellent spot for my dog to have some off leash play time. I’d highly recommend this location especially if you have a reactive dog. Mine loves water and lives for playing fetch, so this was the perfect place for him to run around and then go for a swim to clean off!
About 40 feet or so from the large fenced corral area is another enclosure with some sheep/goats and a really calm livestock guardian dog. He didn’t bark or appear interested in me or my dog whatsoever while we played in the corral (very cute dog). The sheep and dog are mostly obscured by plants and are at a far enough distance that my dog didn’t pay them any attention. If you have a dog that’s really sensitive to other animals it might be good to be aware that they are somewhat within view as you walk into the corral area.
Overall the visit was peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable. It’s a tranquil spot with some amazing views! I’d love to come back again and maybe bring a picnic lunch to enjoy while my dog tires himself out. Priscilla H.

55A fun spot amidst orange and lemon groves. There's a fenced-in off-leash area, a creek nearby, and clear directions on where to park. My pup definitely had fun checking everything out.Tasha H.

55This place was awesome!! There is a huge arena where the boys chased a ball, Frisbee and eachother. There is another arena with an agility course and one of our dogs was quite good at dog agility. Who knew?! Then we went down to the creek which was perfect for romping around and cooling off. The orange orchard was beautiful too with lots of great things to sniff. Everything was very clean. We will be back for sure!Tawny M.

5510/10! I get anxious taking my pup to regular dog parks because I never know the temperament of other dogs and how my dog might react so I would rather take him somewhere private. This spot is absolutely perfect! We used the two very large fully fenced in areas and it’s safe to say that he was very happy and tired when we came home. We will definitely be returning! Harley J.

55We had a wonderful time here. My pup loved being able to run free in such a big space. He also loved cooking off in the little pool, exploring the citrus trees, and hopping around in the creek.
The creek is closer than we initially thought. It was my dogs first time and it was so great to see him loving it so much!Amy F.

55Had a great time here! Everything was pretty much as expected. There were two large fenced areas: one with mostly dirt, and a second with agility course equipment. Lots of room for pups tp run at full speed. There is also a bench for humans to sit on while the pups run around. There is some noise from the nearby dogs ranging from barking to whining, but it is pretty low in volume. My dog is typically reactive to other dog noises, but he was able to play just fine. We didn’t have any other issues with reactivity — no dogs, people, or wildlife in sight. The water feature is a creek you can walk to outside of the fenced area. The area around the creek is pretty rocky, so it can be a little difficult to navigate if your dog is leashed and pulling. The creek itself is nice and cool and surprisingly not that slippery to stand in, even though there is a lot of algae. Had a great experience letting my reactive dog run loose here.Diana R.

55There was so much space for our 3 dogs to explore! There are two separate, enclosed lots. One with toys, a small pool, and lots of room for your dog to run around; the second with lots of agility training equipment. Our dogs surprisingly loved doing agility training (it was new to them). We also had a blast walking around the orchard and seeing Tank taking care of his livestock. Tank is such a good boy, but we were careful to keep our distance and respect their space for obvious reasons. Lastly, our dogs loved the creek. It was shallow and the current was calm. I think they definitely had the most fun playing in the water and getting muddy. Thank you to Karen for opening up her space and we hope to be back in the future!Nestor L.

FAQ about our Frazier Park dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Frazier Park area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 77 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 15 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
