Come, take a walk through my yard, into the woods and down a slope to get to Cazenovia Creek. While down by the creek, you will most likely not encounter another human being. The piece of creek is bordered by Northrup, Transit and the bridge on Southwestern Boulevard. Feel free to explore through the woods in solitude, it is a 10 minute walk down to the creek. I have an unfenced yard, so please have your furry friend on a leash if they are not leash trained. Once you get into the woods, you are more than welcome to go off leash. This is definitely a walk for boots or hikers. If it has been raining, the trail down will be muddy. The walk to the slope is wooded with many obstacles but definitely walkable ducking here and there under a branch.

Small trash can available for bagged pet waste. - Dogs must be vaccinated and in good health to visit the park. - Dogs must be accompanied at all times by owner Warnings/Disclaimer - exercise caution: - Always check to confirm gates at both entries are closed before entering and close gate when you leave. - To access fenced in area from street you will walk by our neighbors fenced in yard and their dogs may bark. Dogs should be on leash until they are in fenced in area to avoid unwanted greetings with the neighbors. - There are ticks and mosquitoes. - The ground is uneven in some areas and may contain trip hazards. - Fencing is 4ft tall livestock wire fencing and has minor defects and imperfections in areas. - Small dogs may be able to squeeze under gates so please be aware - there is a gap at the base of the gate opening. - Be aware there may be wild animals, droppings or remains. There are three large tables with plenty of stools, this spot is a great place to have a picnic while your dog plays. Explore a unique piece of history while enjoying the tranquility of large, private, well-appointed land, located next to an original stonework trestle constructed in the 1850s for the Erie Railroad. Your dogs will love wander along the abandoned railroad bed, trekking through the shale-bottomed stream, or relaxing while overlooking the water. While mostly shallow, the stream deepens at points for short swims. Your dog will love the rocks and sticks and playing in the water. The site is approximately 3 acres with a quarter mile marked trail. The wifi works well here too, well enough to live-stream.
