Great little reprieve in our road trip. I have two German shepherds and they were able to run and play a bit.

I recently visited this spot that has a fantastic area for training dogs, but it also boasts a beautiful patio area for humans to relax and soak up the gorgeous views.
Starting with the dog training area, it was clear that this spot was designed with our four-legged friends in mind. You don't have to leave your furry friend behind while you relax - dogs are welcome on the patio, too!
Overall, I couldn't recommend this spot enough for dog owners looking for a great training area and a peaceful place to relax.

It was great! The dogs loved finding all the little spots to hide and play in the yard. It was a great way to spend the morning!

The location was excellent and we did our usual perimeter check on leash before loosing our girls. We felt very secure letting them run free and they had joyous time. There signs of a groundhog or rabbit making holes around the yard that my hound had a blast tracking. Highly recommended, pleasantly exactly what was expected.

The yard was perfect and exactly as described. Easy to access and large enough for any sized dog. I have a young puppy and I had no concerns about him being safe as he zoomed around and sniffed every inch of the fence line. Great spot! Highly recommend.

I was able to go within an hour notice and it is a really big fully fenced in backyard that my dog was able to zoom around in. It has all of the good amenities and it's a nice quiet neighborhood. Easy to find gate at the end of the driveway and no one bothered us. I'll definitely be here again!

Excellent experience. The yard is easily accessible through a gate and can be seen from the road, so no guesswork about where to go. The yard is relatively level with some shaded areas. The patio is spacious and plenty of seating options. The road is visible from the backyard, and we did hear the neighbors dogs, but didn’t actually see any dogs so after a few barks, our doggos went back to playing. Water was available and PLENTY of things to sniff.

The backyard was big and great for exploring. Easy gate access and a nice shaded place to sit while the dogs ran around. The dogs had a great time. Could hear other people and dogs in the distance but overall very private.

This spot is just as advertised. My dog loved seeing sheep and lambs for the first time. We went on a nice long hike and played in the creek. A tremendous value for the price.

Jennifer is very welcoming and great at communicating about the property, showing me the gates and main trail before leaving Zoe and me to explore the acres and acres of woods, with a stream and fenced pastures that are available for doggos that would otherwise run off. I’m sure Zoe thought she had died and gone to heaven having the place to herself! She even got to meet the friendliest horses, as they came right up to the fence to say hi on our way out. The chickens and sheep didn’t want anything to do with her though lol. The only time you’ll see other animals (not usually dogs) btw is entering and leaving past the farm creatures in their own fenced in areas (unless of course you run into something wild out in the woods.) Also, as Jennifer warned ahead of time: there will be mud and there will be ticks, so be sure you and your pup(s) are prepared. Amazing experience; can’t wait to go back! Oh, and do yourself a favor and buy a dozen of her farm fresh eggs for $3.00!

Always a pleasure to walk at Jennifer’s place. The snow makes it even more magical and no long grass to navigate. So glad Rox and I found her.

Great trails, and the owners are very kind 😊 If you’re looking for a nice place to hike with your dog, this is it. There’s a couple of gates to walk through before you get to trails so no worries if the dogs running into the road.

Once you get beyond the initial gates you find yourself on a beautiful trail surrounded by endless woods for dogs to explore. Our three dogs had a ball. It is a bit overgrown and was very buggy the day we visited so dress accordingly. They splashed around in the creek and if there is mud to be found our old girl will find it and she did!
What other types of private dog parks are available?
Dog water parks
Many hosts have added water features like pools and/or are nearby lakes or rivers.
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
