Small working farm on Johns Island

Unfenced
20 acres

I have had my spot mostly closed for a little while due to family issues. I have started to open the calendar up more and more, however. If you don't see any time open on the day you would like, message me, and I may be able to accommodate you and open your desired time slot. The property is a small working farm on Johns Island with goats, chickens, geese and ducks. There are 20+ acres of undeveloped land. Approximately half of it is fields that aren't currently planted. Some of the fields are cut low and some are high grass with lanes cut through them. The other half of the property is woods. There are also several ponds. The property is perfect for training dogs to track or retrieve or just to let them explore.

Frequently asked questions about Green Pond dog fields

What do private dog fields in Green Pond offer that public parks don't?

Private dog fields in Green Pond offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for full-speed running and fetch, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Green Pond can't guarantee any of this. With 39 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Green Pond?

Yes! Most of Green Pond's 39 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Green Pond listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting dog fields in Green Pond?

Puppies can visit Green Pond dog fields as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore full-speed running and fetch without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Green Pond trainers specifically use dog fields for puppy development.

How do I find private dog fields near me in Green Pond?

Browse Green Pond's 39 dog fields on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Green Pond listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Dawn's Private Dog Park In Summerville is particularly popular among Green Pond dog owners.

Can I rent dog fields in Green Pond by the hour?

Yes! All 39 dog fields in Green Pond are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Green Pond dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot dog fields and public dog parks in Green Pond?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Green Pond mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 39 Green Pond dog fields give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys full-speed running and fetch and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor dog fields in Green Pond?

Yes! Green Pond has climate-controlled indoor dog fields perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Green Pond locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Green Pond weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Green Pond dog fields help with dog training?

Green Pond trainers love dog fields because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice long-distance recall across open space, running drills, or field sports like fetch and frisbee, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for full-speed running and fetch.
