Our private, off-leash park, located just outside of Philomath city limits, is for dogs of all ages, sizes, and behavior levels. Accessible entry includes parking only a few feet away, with additional parking space for extra large vehicles, including motorhomes or trucks. The large, level field is great for training, play time, or socializing. There is plenty of room to run, play fetch, and enjoy the wading pool in warm weather, with no unwelcome direct contact with other dogs or people. Reactive dogs are welcome! You are welcome to add fur friends (up to 10 total dogs) and their humans to your reservation! Marys River access for two or four hours is available as an extra from June to September.

The property is a horse ranch on 25 acres surrounded by private forest. There is a shallow year round creek that is refreshingly cold and also a large pond that your dog can swim in. There are hiking trails that start at the edge of the property. The trails are mostly uphill. The outdoor and indoor arenas are available for an extra fee. They are mostly dog proof for large dogs but not escape proof for small dogs. The horses wander around the property early in the morning so if your dog chases horses it should be kept on a leash around the horses. I recommend that I show you around your first time out here. To get here you must be prepared to drive down 5 miles of gravel road. There is a gate to get into the property. The gate code will be sent to you with the welcoming message. Cell phone signals are weak once you get on the gravel so check the pre-visit message sent two hours before the appointment before you get out of cell service.

The river runs along the back of the property and offers opportunities for dogs to cool off and swim when conditions are appropriate. A Comfortable Space for Humans - Near the fenced dog area, you'll find a small outbuilding with a fully stocked kitchen, drinkable water, a refrigerator, couches, a chair, and a first aid kit. The deck has outdoor seating, making it a lovely spot to relax while your dog enjoys the property. Additional amenities include: • Fresh water and a trough for dogs to drink from and splash or play in. • A fully functioning outhouse for human use. • Deck and kitchen lighting for evening hangouts. • Plenty of space to enjoy food, snacks, and time with your dog. • Potable water for humans and dogs. • A secure place to store food, personal belongins, and a place to stay dry if it’s raining. Please note: The yurt is off-limits to dog park visitors, but the deck and designated outbuilding spaces are available for you to enjoy. Sassy Fox Farm

23 beautiful acres with amazing views of the valley below. Good mix of fields woodlands short and long grass. A small creek runs thru the property. This is a small private homestead, we do have goats, chickens and ducks. Also a flower garden and fruit and nut trees. The front part of the property is fenced, but the rest of the acreage is not. We also have 2 doggy poop stations for you to dispose of all the gifts your pooch may leave behind. At the top of the hill there are 2 Adirondack chairs for you to catch your breath and take in the spectacular view, as well as a seating area in the woods!
