Access to the pool is blocked by a gate on the deck stairs. - After a lot of rain we sometimes get muddy puddles. - The yard has grass, flowers, woods, a kiddie pool, access to a hose, water bowl, dog toys, a place for pet parents to sit and relax while the doggos play. - Its probably a bit more than a 1/2 acre fenced with grass and a wooded trail. There will almost always be someone home during any visit as I work from home. We have dogs and I will lock them inside the house while we have visitors. Rules: 1. We would appreciate a 24 hour notice for all reservation changes or cancellations. 2. If you have more than 2 cars attending at the same time, please park at North Broadway Crossing. 3. Only one booking is in the yard at a time. 4. Due to the pool, no person under 18 is allowed on the property without adult supervision. 5. It is crucial that you arrive during and only stay for the time booked because another family may be booked directly after you or I could have my dogs in the yard if you are there outside of your booked time and I wouldn't want an unexpected encounter.

Cushions are in the shed, please just return them to the shed after use. We have poop bags, a trash bucket, water dishes, and toys also in the shed along with a kiddie pool you can use. In the summer there is a water faucet attached to the barn, right in the yard to fill the kiddie pool or water bowls. A frost free faucet located right outside the fence, on the back of the house is usable all year. Both are fed from a natural spring on property for crystal clear water. Please note we are are a working wooshop so you may hear, and occasionally see people, on your walk to the backyard.

Otherwise the yard is open with short grass. There is a gravel area under the deck for shade. There is seating on the deck and under the deck. In the summer, there is a baby plastic pool that can be filled with water from a well faucet near one side of the deck.

Welcome to a clean, well-maintained, fully fenced backyard in a quiet suburban neighborhood in Southern Peabody, just 20 minutes north of Boston and right off Route 1. The yard features approximately 2,500 square feet of short, manicured grass enclosed by a vinyl privacy fence, giving your dog a safe and secure space to run, sniff, and play without distractions. The ground is flat, the grass is kept short, and the fence is solid on all sides, so even nervous or reactive dogs can decompress here comfortably. There’s a shaded structure for you to sit and relax while your pup explores, along with a stone patio area with seating and a usable fire pit if you want to hang out a bit longer. A water hose and sprinkler are available on-site, which is great for dogs who like to cool off or just chase water. We do have a resident dog, but they will not be present during your visit. A few things to note: please no digging, and please clean up after your dog before you leave. Waste bags and/or scooper are provided, as well as trash bin. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway in the winter. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends and most weekdays too. Please park along the street and walk up the driveway to the white fence, reach over to unlatch the gate and step in onto the patio. Your dog may play anywhere in the yard or on the patio. Please do not go behind the chicken wire fencing or sheds. You are welcome to use any of our tennis balls, “chuck-its” and dog toys while using the yard; we leave them on the patio table. Feel free to take a seat under the umbrella for some shade. If the little doggie “kiddie” pool is set up, you may use it, but absolutely NO people OR dogs allowed in the above-ground pool.
