Lazy Bones Acres offers 5 acres of wooded hiking trails for you and your furry companion to enjoy. Pack a lunch to enjoy on one of our picnic tables along the way or simply take in the peacefulness of the forest and wildlife. Listen to the squirrels chase each other in the tree tops, the woodpeckers pecking away in a nearby tree, or the geese honking at a nearby pond. Three acres are fully fenced and enclosed to let your dog run free. Wildlife that are commonly seen on visits include deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, chipmunks, a beautiful array of wild birds, and much more. *Our terrain is uneven as it goes through woods. If you have trouble with balance or walking, please reconsider your visit to our property for your safety. Trails are kept clear, but raspberry and blackberry bushes present thorns, please use caution with these prickers. ** Our spot is fully fenced, however if your dog is not command trained we do not recommend letting them off leash. Dogs have a natural instinct to chase the rabbits and squirrels we have.

Come on over and have some fun with your dog in a safe set up. Walk the trails in the forest and prairie to create stronger bond or practice off leash commands without distractions. Use the agility playground to boost your dog’s confidence or simply play around on the obstacles. The agility area is fully fenced in with 6foot fencing. Come and let your dog explore, play, and swim on our beautiful family farm. Our farm means the world to us and we think you will love it just as much. Our farm lies on 40 acres in Bull Valley, Illinois. Although it is not fenced in, our property is doggy heaven for dogs trained to be off-leash. Come take a walk, bring a frisbee/ball, or just come let your dog sniff and explore. We have many farm animals on our property as well. Please be respectful of our property. We take pride in our farm and love sharing it, but we want to keep it beautiful. Entry in any of the barns/buildings is prohibited. Please remain in the back of our property. We do live on the property and appreciate our privacy.

10 acres on the river with a 50x50 fenced in area, a swimming pool, and on the beautiful fox river also have a pool house available for shade, and a full kitchen in there as well. We have a sport dog electric fence on the entire 10 acres so if you have sport dog electric fence system your collar will work over here, we have two wonderful dogs that love to play so it up to you if you would like us to keep our dogs inside or outside to play with yours. Also available is a private island that is 8 acres and fully wooded but you have to take our canoe to get to it. Come out and have a fun time with your dogs.

Do not enter wetland/tertuaries due to probable quick sand, per great Lakes fish and game wardens and assigned wetland scientist that frequent property. All NW IN wild animals share property. Brown recuse spiders: found on wood. Coyotes, deer and wild turkeys roam throughout the land. Sand cranes, geese, large Crows, Owls and Midwest birds hang out.
