Shady Trails Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Tiny

Fully Fenced
25 acres

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD *WINTER CHANGES NOW IN EFFECT* (-No water available over winter months -Gap under gate for snow clearance -Used dog bags go in green bin beside shop -Parking on driveway once deep snow arrives, dirt road will be blocked with pylons) *Please look at the pictures of the main gate before deciding if this spot is secure enough for your dog* *SPRING UPDATE* The entrance gate to the Sniffspot in the spring does get muddy and with the saturated soil does hold standing water at times. Please do not park in the standing water. The Sniffspot area is located at the back of my property. Where there is a 6 foot tall fence so that dogs are secure even in the winter with a few feet of snow on the ground. I just recently set this up as family friends recommended I try it, so please be patient as I improve things to make it more guest friendly. Hope your four legged friends enjoy it as much as my dogs do.

Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails! Please access the trails from Concession 6. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. There is a SniffSpot Sign at the entrance. You may park in the private driveway. Rubber boots are recommended! At times the river will be high, and you may only have access to the first half of the trails. Frequently asked questions about Lake of Bays dog hiking trails

What do private dog hiking trails in Lake of Bays offer that public parks don't?

Private dog hiking trails in Lake of Bays offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for natural exploration and varied terrain, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Lake of Bays can't guarantee any of this. With 8 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Lake of Bays?

Yes! Most of Lake of Bays's 8 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Lake of Bays listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting dog hiking trails in Lake of Bays?

Puppies can visit Lake of Bays dog hiking trails as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore natural exploration and varied terrain without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Lake of Bays trainers specifically use dog hiking trails for puppy development.

How do I find private dog hiking trails near me in Lake of Bays?

Browse Lake of Bays's 8 dog hiking trails on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Lake of Bays listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Shady Trails Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Tiny is particularly popular among Lake of Bays dog owners.

Can I rent dog hiking trails in Lake of Bays by the hour?

Yes! All 8 dog hiking trails in Lake of Bays are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Lake of Bays dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot dog hiking trails and public dog parks in Lake of Bays?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Lake of Bays mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 8 Lake of Bays dog hiking trails give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys natural exploration and varied terrain and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor dog hiking trails in Lake of Bays?

Yes! Lake of Bays has climate-controlled indoor dog hiking trails perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Lake of Bays locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Lake of Bays weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Lake of Bays dog hiking trails help with dog training?

Lake of Bays trainers love dog hiking trails because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice trail recall in natural environments, leash manners on varied terrain, or hiking endurance building, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for natural exploration and varied terrain.
