Great spot! Massive fenced area for the dogs to run. There is an area for your dogs to swim however there is an opening on that side for your dog to take off if it’s recall isn’t any good. Mine loved running through the marsh!

Linda was extremely accommodating & her property is beautiful! Our 2 pups had lots of fun, & there is plenty room for them to roam. Would absolutely recommend to any dog owners :-)

Linda was very welcoming with a beautiful property and sweet pup Pearl. Linda was so kind and showed us around. Very inviting but also gave us space to ourselves. Would highly recommend her place.

We had a great time! My dogs ran around, explored and played with Linda’s very friendly pup. Linda is very nice and provided water and toys.
The lot isn’t fenced, but it’s a very quiet area. Also, just for information - the drop to the water is pretty steep, so the dogs didn’t go in.

This really was the perfect little getaway for us and our water dogs! Booked the space for 3 hours so we could take out the boat, relax, and have a little picnic. Will definitely be back!

What a beautiful spot! I can only imagine the gorgeous fall view so must come back. Mikey and his foster sister pups had a great time running around the spacious yard and tentatively trying swimming. Think they will be pros by next visit! Thank you, Lamar!

Absolutely beautiful spot, great for dogs learning to swim and to work on recall. Very peaceful. Lamar had several amenities such as hose, baggies and chairs. Will be back!

This was a great spot if your kids like to swim! My son had a blast and this place allowed my daughter to finally become comfortable with the water!! We’ve been trying to get her to swim for the longest time and today she finally got in!! So happy! We really enjoyed our time here and can’t wait for next time

We had the best time swimming! It was a little rainy but that didn’t bother us at all. The pups loved swimming and playing fetch. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our visit! Sometimes it’s hard to find a Sniffspot with a great river for the dogs to swim in alone from other traffic. Very clean and super fun! We will definitely come back!☺️

What a wonderful time! Our host was communicative and kind. We very much appreciated the bug spray, chairs, and water toys. We had so much fun on the paddle boat, and Shadow had a blast swimming and running the shoreline. We can’t wait to come back!

This spot was great for our pup. It was mostly shaded which was nice on a hot/humid day. Our Evie loved swimming in the pond. And relaxing on the dock.

This was our first sniffspot rental and our pup absolutely loved it! We have a big backyard so we really rented it for the pond. Our pup loves water and really enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming! It was very quite & peaceful. We will definitely be back again to let our pup swim!!

Unbelievable endless fields, when you reach the end of one and think you’ve hit the edge of the property, check your map location to see that it goes on and on and on. Know where you’re going, you’re deep in Hanover, wildlife is present!

This was our first time ever going to a sniff spot and my kids really enjoyed it!! They never had so much fun and I could tell this is going to become a regular visiting place for us. How do I know if a dog water park works for my dog?
Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog water parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog water parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to see what kind of water features are offered to make sure it works for your dog. If your dog is not a strong swimmer, then perhaps choose a dog water park with tamer water features rather than a river or beach, for instance. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking water park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot water park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Additionally, we recommend following our water safety guidelines.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot water park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
If you are planning an amazing dog water park party, each Sniffspot water park has their own rules regarding special events. Many water parks allow doggie birthday parties, training and other event types. Event organizers need to be responsible for their guests and event organizers should coordinate with the host regarding their fun party.
