Erika was VERY nice and tentative. The yard was a good size for my pup and was surrounded with toys. The farm animals are SO CUTE!!! ✨10/10 will book again✨ (don’t mind his shaven leg he hot neutered 4 weeks ago)

We loved our time at the red barn. Fenced in space to roam, some balls to kick around, very much to sniff, and best of all, some new friends on the farm for our little one. Elvis the pig is a sweetheart. Thank you, Erika!

Nice fenced in yard area at a farm. My dog enjoyed the toys and playing in/on the equipment. She was absolutely fascinated with the pigs and goats in the area next to the yard. We enjoyed our visit and hope to return

Had another great visit to this spot! My 2 reactive dogs can relax, even though they do bark at the goats a pigs a little, and have fun. And my fence jumper is contained so she can be off leash safely. And we found some treats as a promotional gift for a new store opening soon. Awesome evening!

Great place for our first off leash adventure. Our pup had a wonderful time running and playing. They left us a large kiddie pool for her to play in that she had a ball in.
She got to meet her first goats and pigs too. We will definitely be back soon and often.
Thank you for making Kinley’s first birthday such a happy day. ❤️🐶😀

Host was great! Answered all my questions before hand, very quickly I might add. Loved the location! Was a little confusing to where we were going but that could just be on me. 😂 Dogs had fun and would recommend!

Absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The minute my dogs got out of the car they were so excited to be there, I let them off leash and they ran right for the water and never left. Even though not fenced there is a thick tree line to deter your dogs from roaming too far. We had a blast and cannot wait to come back

Beautiful place! I’m always nervous about unfenced places since our girl doesn’t have the greatest recall but this place is pretty safe. Peaceful too! Will come back!

Awesome!!! Water, space, privacy, quiet. Easy off the highway but feels secluded. The space is clean and the host were very responsive. I hope to make this a regular activity for my dogs.

The area is nice and equipped with waste bags, treats, a water bowl, and chairs. I brought tennis balls for my dogs and they mainly played fetch. It's not a huge area, so if you're looking to really launch the ball or want lots of space to run, make a note of the yard size. It was easy to find and clean.
What other types of private dog parks are available?
Dog water parks
Many hosts have added water features like pools and/or are nearby lakes or rivers.
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Madison area are 5 stars.
