June 22: The parking area to the fully-fenced area have been mowed short. We have tried to eliminate as many foxtails as possible. I am waiting on a tractor service for the hillside - the grass is taller w/ foxtails so recommend avoiding until it is mowed. SUMMER: Recommend AM visits before 10am or evening after 5pm. Our spot is full sun with very limited shade. We are trying to eliminate the foxtails but we have a large property and cannot guarantee we get all of them. **Horses visible in adjacent property occasionally Additionally, guests can enjoy the adjacent hillside which is partially-fenced. You are welcome to enjoy this off-leash or, if you're more comfortable, take a little stroll through the grass. NOTE: There may be foxtails and ticks in this area.

The first private swimming pool in the area, designed just for dogs to splash, swim, and have fun! 🌞 About the Pool -Chlorinated and professionally cleaned weekly. -Pool depth & entry steps: The pool goes up to 9 ft deep on the east side, but most of the west side is waist-high shallow water. There are 3 wide steps where dogs can easily enter, rest, or leave the pool. -Dog life jackets in XS/S/M/L sizes (one of each), pool toys, and treats available. -We are open in spring since the weather is warm recently. The water temperature depends on sunshine and weather (not a jacuzzi or gas-heated pool). In early March, we tested that the pool water temperature is around 63-70F degree during day time. We had some big pups(golden retriever, bernedoodle, and labs) come to swim, and they all had a lot of fun. However, the pool is unsuitable for people to swim in spring. - Trees provide shade during most of the daytime in the backyard for guests to sit and relax. -The backyard has a mix of stone, mulch, pebbles, and turf, giving dogs plenty of textures and areas to explore. -A few extras provided: sunscreen, wipes, and dog treats to make your visit easier. ✨ Before You Book -This is a dog pool, so the focus is for your pups to enjoy the water. Even though we clean after every visit and run the filter constantly, dogs naturally bring in hair, oils, dust, and dirt. This is not a resort-style pool for people. -Please brush your dog before swimming to reduce shedding(brushes are provided) 👥 Guests & Dogs -2 guests included with the first dog. PAW Forward Doggie Park, Manteca

A truly beautiful spot! just the right size to keep an eye on your dogs while they run themselves tired. It was a half acre sandy soil riding arena now converted. We’ve planted 3 weeping willow trees and they will grow quickly to provide even more shade to the grassy area. But rest assured, there is tons of shade and trees all about the doggie park and the rest of the property and along with all the trees comes the birds, so constant singing and tweeting…. It’s quite serene. 2/3 (the center of the park) is irrigated grass… we have a large scratching post and sprinklers And or a pool available for hot days. See extras some days you might luck out because if someone else pays to fill the pool, we won’t immediately drain it for a couple days unless someone else purchases the freshwater. So you may have a slightly used pool to use at no charge.. And if you do pay the $11 to fill it fresh.. you feel good that maybe someone else and there doggies will get to enjoy it beyond your use. —- A paw it forward gesture We have a dig site now, featuring both fresh sand and separately a clean dirt mound. We find half of the dogs prefer the sand and the other half prefer the fresh dirt mound. We also have a dry rock River bed featuring a few scarlet sage plants (non toxic aspca) and many of the dogs like to sniff around there and walk over the smooth rocks. We use the perimeter of the park like a walking track to get in our steps, you are welcome to do the same. There are several seating options, very comfortable chairs spaced in a couple areas or even a couple pool style recliners. We have some things that you may want or need to use from time to time such as insect repellent, sunscreen spray, first aid kit, etc There are 2 indestructible tables in the area if you need a place to set your coffee or would like to get some work done We have some Wi-Fi service available via Starlink and seem to maintain speeds around 15-25mbps, which is not so bad for our rural setting. We are actually just a very short distance from Ripon, Manteca and Tracy (off Kasson Rd and Airport) about 7 or 8 minutes into the country from the Bass Pro Shop in Manteca. only about 20 minutes from Modesto via Ripon and Ripon Road / Jack Tone We will continuously improve the park and maintain and upgrade as use allows. *** Our most recent additions include a restroom within the park perimeter and we now offer self-service snacks and drinks via Venmo, PayPal or Cash. 100% of the snack purchase Donations go directly to the PAW it Forward Sanctuary, NON Profit 501c3 Rescue. Plan to arrive 15 min before your scheduled visit to make sure you have time to find the spot, park, walk etc. We are home with our dogs so please don’t get too close to the big house to avoid our dogs from wanting to come out and play. Small house and basketball court ok to be around. Magical place for dogs and owners. The property is beautiful and interesting to explore and relax with benches throughout. Bring your own pic-nic and enjoy it in the secret garden. Or shoot some hoops in the basketball court. It’s an experience for both dog and owner. Come enjoy 3+ acres of fully fenced area! A true hidden gem with entrance from the awesome San Vincent public hike trail with access to free parking. UNEVEN TERRAIN: Entrance can be steep and there are hills in the property and uneven terrain. Terrain takes a couple of days after rain to fully dry out so wear good shoes and always watch your step. We have three dogs who will be kept indoors and out of sight during your visit. Getting into the property is an adventure of its own, just follow the signs. 2-5 min walk from parking lot. Once you are here you can explore freely and take it all in :) IMPORTANT: Public parking at entrance of trail and entrance to property is via hike trail. Every now and then you might encounter a person walking a dog there or riding a horse. Please come prepared! We do not provide bags or trash cans (so please try to take your dog’s poop with you, if you can find it) We provide water but you must get it yourself. You can find a bowl at the outdoor sink next to the green house on the west door. The water from the sink is clean well water. Please leave bowl on the same spot. Restrooms are not available. If plum trees have fruit feel free to pick some and enjoy! Fun gopher holes they can put their nose in, but please stop your dog from digging! 😅 Note for reactive dogs: We completely understand how important safety is for reactive dogs, and many guests choose our space for that reason. That said, please note that the trail to get to our property is public and not something we can control. You may run into another dog or horse on the public trail. Additionally, at the corner of the western side, there is heavy fencing and dense bushes that act as an additional barrier, but a neighboring dog might be present and bark. Our space itself is secure, fully fenced, and a safe environment. All just for you. No other animals inside the property unless you request a playdate with one of our dogs. Please don’t forget to download the photos and pay attention to the directions to know the proper address to put on your GPS. And remember you might lose reception here so copy those as well. A lot of vegetation and places to sit down, meditate, read a book, study, or have a picnic. Your pup will love to run and play in our one-acre garden. Picking fruit or vegetable etc. is off the limit. Drinking water for animals is provided in various containers throughout the property. Please do not turn on or use any water equipment on our property - we had some serious problems in the past because of this. Please clean up after your dog’s “business” - smile. That’s a serious and mandatory request. Poop bags are available in the plastic box with the other dog gear, but please bring your own backup supply just in case and do not leave the poop bags behind. BROWN garbage can is in the front of the house by the street for your convenience. Thank you! Woof woof! 🌸 Note: in the rainy season we might not change the water for dogs because it’s senseless. Please arrive always with your own supply of water - rain or shine - and if it’s raining you might like to wear rain boots as well. Have fun!
