The yard blocks the spot on the calendar, not the pool. For example, if you book the yard for 90 minutes, the longest you can book the pool is 90 minutes (you can book the pool for less (e.g. 60 min or 30 min) if you prefer. We will provide towels, pool toys, and life jackets for your use. Please hang the towels and life jackets on the fence when you have completed your visit. Groverland is a 2 acre fenced yard so you and your furry friend(s) have plenty of room to roam. Please be sure the gate latches when you come in and when you leave. We live next to a very busy road and want to ensure everyone's safety! We have toys in a bin on the steps to the deck. Feel free to use them, but please put them back when you are done. There are poop bags and wet wipes on the toy station as well. The poop bucket is next to the gate you came in. Water dishes will be on the pavers between the pool and the house. There is also a kiddie pool for use. We do ask that you keep barking to a minimum. I have grumpy neighbors who disapprove of the Spot :) We are open from 10am - 4pm, but will sometimes make exceptions, so feel free to ask. Now for the Debbie Downer part - as the spot has gotten more popular, we are seeing things getting damaged and, as a result, have added a few rules. If you damage something, please let us know so we can address it. Things happen, so do not worry, we just need to know so we take care of it before the next guest. I have some single track trails through the woods but the biggest area to explore is along the gas pipeline there's about a mile of space to my north than just about a half mile to the south, there are some spots where it does get soggy more song to the soft if you had no if there's one little frog pond and then you go up a big hill and it's dry

Hi! We are happy to share our yard with other dog owners in the area who are looking to give their dogs some responsible, safe, off-leash time. I know what it’s like to have a need for your dogs to be off leash, happily running free, but in a space without other, unknown dogs (or people)! Sometimes you’ve got a reactive pup, a dog who is in training, or just an elderly pup looking to gently romp. We are an animal loving family who wants your pup to have whatever they need to be happy and healthy and for you to enjoy their company. We’ve got a fully fenced in space for you to enjoy with your dog(s). One side of the space is our house exterior wall, two sides are 6 foot vinyl fencing with no visual distractions and one side is made up of 6 foot metal dog kennel panels which look out onto the rest of our family yard. There’s a hammock, and patio furniture that you are welcome to use. Sunscreen and bug spray provided as well. We also have a trash bin, pooper scooper, pick up bags, and hand sanitiser on hand to keep everything clean and tidy. Please feel free to be in touch with any questions you may have.

The Bran & Honey Spot

Welcome! Sniffspot holds a special place in my heart. My dog, Bran, is reactive and it was a life saver having a safe space to bring him and his sister, Miss Honey, to play! As an avid Sniffspot guest, I wanted to return the favor once I got a fully fenced in yard and host. My dogs love all the sniff action it brings too! This fully fenced yard with privacy fencing is just the right size to let your pup(s) safely explore, sniff, play and zoom while being able to easily keep any eye on them. No pesticides, chemicals or fertilizer are ever applied. There are areas of the yard with some bare spots and dirt but I see it as signs of love and happiness from all the pups that have come to play! **Outdoor lighting: There is a hardwired flood light that is motion activated and will remain on for 15 minute increments if not triggered by further motion. Pups moving about trigger the light so it will remain on your entire visit after dark! There are solar-powered string lights that give off a subtle glow. There are also solar-powered motion activated lights along the fence line that are also triggered by the pups. See spot photos for examples of the yard after dark!

The park features a double-gated entrance with secure access code entry, providing a safe and stress-free experience. Guests can relax under the sun shade on our bench seating or enjoy the table and chairs with umbrella while their dogs explore. Fresh water is available for dogs, along with toys for play and a fun fire hydrant feature. Hi! I’m Joanne, and this is my dog Nifty’s favorite place in the world—so I thought I’d share it with other wonderful dogs and their people. We have 15 private acres with woods, open fields, and river access, and it’s been such a gift for my dog to have a safe space to run freely. I know not every dog thrives at dog parks, so I wanted to create a peaceful alternative. This space is especially loved by dogs who need a little extra room or prefer a quieter environment. *Same Spot. New Owners* Hot day, rainy day, cold day, snowy day - pop over over a fully enclosed romp in our private 80' x 180' indoor (riding) arena. Visitors are welcome to use the equine obstacles available in the indoor or bring your own. High windows in the building prevent visitors from seeing the other animals. Horses and donkeys are kept on site but not in the area of the spot. Openings starting at 30 minutes and up to full day rentals. Happy to chat about weekly club, daycare or spots. Please no digging in the arena footing. Please leave everything as you found it. Guests must sign a waiver on their first visit. The building is equipped with security cameras inside and out.
