Winding Brook Farm: 15 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park 💕 Every Visit Helps Rescue Animals 💕

Hi! I’m Joanne, and this is my dog Nifty’s favorite place in the world—so I thought I’d share it with other wonderful dogs and their people. We have 15 private acres with woods, open fields, and river access, and it’s been such a gift for my dog to have a safe space to run freely. I know not every dog thrives at dog parks, so I wanted to create a peaceful alternative. This space is especially loved by dogs who need a little extra room or prefer a quieter environment. The property is fenced along the two “long sides” which encourages your dog to stay nearby but with lots of roaming space. The fence is NOT fully secure. Please see the section about fencing. Near the cabin, there’s a cozy seating area where you can relax under the trees while your dog enjoys the space. We’re so happy to share this space with you and your pup! It’s meant to feel simple, calm, and restorative. 🐾 A Space That Gives Back This Sniffspot was created not just for dogs to enjoy, but to make a difference. The location is convenient for day trips, but the scenery feels like you've discovered a perfect piece of New England nature. Don't miss out! Note: pond had been treated with animal safe due dye and may be drunk and swum in safely!

Groverland

The pool is open!! Please remember - it needs to be added as an “extra” and there is a limit of 3 dogs in the pool for the longevity of our filter and pump :) There has been some confusion around booking the pool - you need to book the yard for at least as long as you book the yard. The yard blocks the spot on the calendar, not the pool. For example, if you book the yard for 90 minutes, the longest you can book the pool is 90 minutes (you can book the pool for less (e.g. 60 min or 30 min) if you prefer. Groverland is a 2 acre fenced yard so you and your furry friend(s) have plenty of room to roam. Please be sure the gate latches when you come in and when you leave. We live next to a very busy road and want to ensure everyone's safety! We have toys in a bin on the steps to the deck. Feel free to use them, but please put them back when you are done. There are poop bags and wet wipes on the toy station as well. The poop bucket is next to the gate you came in. Water dishes will be on the pavers between the pool and the house. Use of the pool is an add on, so please be sure to mark that when you make your reservations. We will provide towels, pool toys, and life jackets for your use. Please hang the towels and life jackets on the fence when you have completed your visit. We do ask that you keep barking to a minimum. I have grumpy neighbors who disapprove of the Spot :) We are open from 10am - 4pm, but will sometimes make exceptions, so feel free to ask. Now for the Debbie Downer part - as the spot has gotten more popular, we are seeing things getting damaged and, as a result, have added a few rules. If you damage something, please let us know so we can address it. Things happen, so do not worry, we just need to know so we take care of it before the next guest. The 8.4 acres has several ATV trails that make hiking easy for you and your four legged friends. If you decide to go off trail it is wooded but not heavily. A little over a half acre of unfenced in yard. Our property includes roaring brook that runs through the back - my dogs love swimming there! We also have a public trail that runs through our yard and our neighbors on the street (not really maintained but walkable for sure- we call it bear highway since that’s all we see using it.) We also have a playground available for dogs & kids alike. We also added a covered gazebo for additional seating or shade. We do have a kiddie pool we can fill and leave out as well. We also have a smaller fenced in area in our middle lot where our dogs do not play and do not have access to. There are chairs there to sit if you need and a fire pit! Our property is set back from the road quite a bit. You come down the long driveway and you would park in front of our skeleton where the driveway curves. You are welcome to pull down as far as you want to the water by the tree line. You can throw any trash or poop bags in the green trash bin by the road (it’s bear proof so anything is fine!). We hope to host you soon :) Ps: our ‘lovely’ neighbor recently put up a small white fence in the lower lot- please try to not cross that. You are welcome to walk the path the other way though! ;)
