We have 15 private acres with woods, open fields, and river access, and it’s been such a gift for my dog to have a safe space to run freely. I know not every dog thrives at dog parks, so I wanted to create a peaceful alternative. This space is especially loved by dogs who need a little extra room or prefer a quieter environment. The property is fenced along the two “long sides” which encourages your dog to stay nearby but with lots of roaming space. The fence is NOT fully secure. Please see the section about fencing. Near the cabin, there’s a cozy seating area where you can relax under the trees while your dog enjoys the space. We’re so happy to share this space with you and your pup! Fully Fenced Spacious Yard - Fitchburg

May 2026 update: I am currently working on getting a six foot tall privacy fence to block out my neighbor and provide more privacy for everyone involved. To maintain the peace I have limited my hours as I wait for the new fence installation. I believe early June everything will be all set. Please be patient the next few weeks if you have trouble booking with me. Once the fence is up and there are no distractions a more open schedule will resume. Thank you for your patience and understanding and I can’t wait for the experience to be that much more private and better. This fenced in back yard has plenty of space for dogs to run about. The driveway is long enough that you’ll have your own private and close spot right next to the gate. Peaceful and beautiful backyard. One neighbor is visible but rarely out. Conveniently located close to the Massachusetts Turnpike and Rte 84. The Sniffspot area is in a quiet residential, wooded area. There is a sportsman's club a ways down the road, and if there is an event, occasionally, the range can be audible. Most dogs have been completely unbothered by it. Last minute reservations are ok, but please understand, with minimal notice, we may not have the opportunity to completely refresh the play space. Fully fenced in backyard for your dog(s) to play and run! There is plenty of space for your pup(s) to run around, have fun, and burn off some energy! (Please note, the trampoline seen in the pictures has been removed). There is a water bowl and some poop bags on the cement slab in the backyard (please dispose of the full poop bags in the trash bin at the front of the house), 3 balls also available to play with. There is also a water hose available. If the dog water bowl has no water in it, you are welcome to use the hose to fill it! To get to the backyard, enter through the fence to the right of the garage/house. *Please note: We will remain open during the winter, use at your discretion because there will be snow out there at times. AHM's Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Litchfield

About 1 acre fully fenced in yard with a 6 foot privacy fence, except the gate - (which is 4 ft chain link). Bench & patio furniture for the humans. Cushions are in the shed, please just return them to the shed after use. We have poop bags, a trash bucket, water dishes, and toys also in the shed along with a kiddie pool you can use. In the summer there is a water faucet attached to the barn, right in the yard to fill the kiddie pool or water bowls. A frost free faucet located right outside the fence, on the back of the house is usable all year. Both are fed from a natural spring on property for crystal clear water.

Fitchburg Dog Park

Groverland

Please note - the pool is closed for the winter! We will open it back up when the weather gets friendlier! Groverland is a 2 acre fenced yard so you and your furry friend(s) have plenty of room to roam. Please be sure the gate latches when you come in. We have toys in a bin on the steps to the deck. Feel free to use them, but please put them back when you are done. There are poop bags and wet wipes on the toy station as well. The poop bucket is next to the gate you came in. Water dishes will be on the pavers between the pool and the house. Use of the pool is an add on, so please be sure to mark that when you make your reservations. We will provide towels, pool toys, and life jackets for your use. Please hang the towels and life jackets on the fence when you have completed your visit. We do ask that you keep barking to a minimum. I have grumpy neighbors who disapprove of the Spot :) We are open from 10am - 4pm, but will sometimes make exceptions, so feel free to ask.
