You’ll pass a historic two-story red barn built in 1890, blooming apple trees, bee hives, horse stable (with horse and sheep), and family house to this restored, historic 1890s main house. Beautiful native trees and a historic stone smokehouse. Sky-blue chicken coop and free ranging (fenced in) chickens. Look out the east for a beautiful view of the nearby stream. Additional viewable structures include a corn shed, two line sheds, outhouse and grain bins. The entrance to this unique property is secured with an electronic gate. Come enjoy 15 acres of restored native prairie bursting with diversity and wildlife for humans and dogs alike! Your pooch will love to bound through the Bluestem, sniff out wildlife and get out their wiggles. There is a mowed path along the Western treeline. The Sniff spot ends at South where the mowed path meets the woods. Please do not continue around towards the house as there are chickens. Parking immediately to the right after you pull thru the gate, marked with a sniff spot and monarch way station sign. We're right off the end of 650th road, Black house set back by the trees (past the abandoned white farm house). Not great cell service, advise a screenshot of the map in photos before coming. We're at the end of the Cul-de-sac. Still learning the ropes and enjoying meeting guests if I'm here! I have a kitty, but he has hiding spots, and guests rarely see him since he has escape routes. The neighbor to the south just signed up (chain link side) so you may see a pup there.
