55Absolutely beautiful property! It was a wonderful little hike and my dog loved it. Well marked entrance. We felt really safe here. Definitely no cell service but that's fine. We had so much fun and we barely scratched the surface. When we come back, I'll book two hours so we can really get into the forest. Love this spot! Rachel H.

55My dog and I loved it! The space was clean and well maintained, and an hour was the perfect amount of time - my dog took a nap on the drive home. We used our 30 ft leash to prevent her from running off too far or into any neighbors Roslyn W.

55Nice property with a few trails. Quiet and clean. Felt safe being there alone with my pup. There are couple of water spots for thirsty pups and picnic tables. Overall we had a good experience. Louisa L.

55Lovely! A quiet meander around the woods. I was a little nervous in a couple spots where the trail ran up against people's backyards but I just called my dogs away and moved on. I appreciate the multiple spots to sit and being able to drive in! Jessi C.

55Loved this area and so did the dogs. So much to explore and sniff. Our lab’s nose was going nonstop and was anxious to make sure she didn’t miss any important sniffs. Our Golden did more of a leisurely stroll-and-sniff. The trails were easy to follow and the trees kept the temperatures nice and cool. We will definitely be coming back for another sniffing experience. Patrick B.

55Very nice trails with thoughtful water stops and trash cans along the way. The areas in are fenced off, and the trails are sectioned off with a good amount of vegetation on the sides. Vanessa B.

55My favorite Sniffspot on the peninsula. Both of my German Shepherds love to explore this wonderful wooded area. Enough open ground to play fetch and enough wooded area for your pups to explore. There are a number of short trails to walk while your pups range about. My only concern with this spot is that some trails come close to unfenced areas near homes and streets so being able to recall your distracted pups is recommended.Ron H.

55We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! We loved the song lyrics and definitely laughed and played as we were exploring. The trails are to the left of the parking. There is a map of trails hanging on the tree by the bridge near the parking. Thanks for sharing this wonderful space!Alison D.

55This was our first Sniffspot experience and it was AMAZING. We have fours dogs, one who is particularly reactive, so we can’t do regular dog parks. This was probably bigger and way better maintained than a dog park, with no worries about anyone else in the space. Shaundra C.

55This was by far our favorite spot to explore for both canine & human. We had so much fun that next time we’d like to book much more time! Enzo has been exhausted and dreaming loudly 😂 & I learned I didn’t know the right words to ‘Stairway to heaven’ for over 40 years! Very cool spot! Yes, there are hills. Yes, you need proper footwear and yes it can be muddy however you and your pup will have a blast & a dog with his tongue hanging to the side because he’s had so much fun will be 100% worth it. Gorgeous property. Thank you Liz B.

55Lovely wooded spot with lots of great smells and obstacles for nosy dogs! It is not "fully fenced" but the understory and distance from surrounding properties is sufficient to contain bonded pups. We had a blast! Will return.Franki T.

55Beautiful property that my dogs loved running around! Especially nice that we could pull into the sniff spot and close the gate before unloading the dogs. Easy to walk wide, main path with intersecting smaller trails on the side. Not completely fenced, but borders are marked and there didn’t seem to be any large roads nearby, so with recall I felt like it was safe for my dogs to run ahead and explore. Very fun hour for both humans and dogs. Wish we lived closer so we could visit more frequently!Sherry H.

55I can not recommend this spot enough. Our 2 dogs, German Shepherds had so much fun running off leash, exploring this property, and replying to all the other messages left behind by previous visitors. I love that there are no other visitors that normally cause a reaction in the oldest dog. When visiting please make note of the directions provided by Paul. Google maps does not take you to the right location but we were set knowing this ahead of time. We will be back. Thank you Paul.Jamie D.

55We went today to the property and we had a lot of fun! We went with my brother and his family. We have two dogs and they have one dog and a foster dog who they aren’t able to take to public dog parks due to liabilities. One of ours is a five months old spunky puppy and is learning to be social, this was perfect for all of them! The kids ran, the dogs ran, they all played! We didn’t have any issues with the dogs going out of the area and they roamed around together. It’s nice to allow them off leash to play in the woods and explore. There was a gallon of water and a bowl, picnic tables, chairs, and a garbage. We brought water for the dogs just in case, they did need it when we weren’t near the provided water because they were playing so hard! Being a towel to wipe the dogs (and kids) off of you don’t want your car dirty! Also wear shoes you can get wet and don’t mind if you encounter some mud! An hour was perfect as the dogs were tired! They have all slept the rest of the day! We hope to make this a weekly play day! So happy to have found this place! Amber M.

55This was a lovely outing and the dogs had a blast! You definitely need decent recall because while the woods mostly create a barrier, there are places to go where you’re not supposed to. Pretty sure I saw my fast dog make a loop around the road in the distance on her way back to me. It’s not a busy road though so I wasn’t stressed. Will def be back.Jo B.

55Paul is really helpful and accommodating. We were running a little late and also had to walk up the short hill to the Sniffspot because of the ice, and Paul added a half hour to our time slot to make up for the delays. The woods are lovely and peaceful, and I especially like the little trails.
We did run into three friendly walkers (neighbors?), but they didn't have any dogs and weren't at all bothered by mine.
It's also very nice to be able park inside the gate.Heidi S.

Frequently asked questions about Pasco dog hiking trails
What types of dog hiking trails are available in Pasco?
Pasco has 3 dog hiking trails offers wooded trails, open meadows, and varied natural terrain. Whether you need a fully-fenced space for poor recall, a quiet location for a reactive dog, appropriate sizing for small breeds, gentle terrain for seniors, or specific amenities like water features or agility equipment, you'll find options in Pasco. Filter by fencing, size, distractions, and amenities to match your needs.
When can I book dog hiking trails in Pasco?
Pasco dog hiking trails are available based on host scheduling—many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for you. Check individual Pasco listings for specific availability. Flexible scheduling is especially helpful for dogs with specific needs: reactive dogs who do better during quieter times, working dog owners needing early/late slots, or seniors needing cooler morning hours.
How do I book a dog hiking trail in Pasco?
Browse 3 available dog hiking trails in Pasco, select your preferred date and time, and reserve through Sniffspot. Most Pasco locations offer instant booking. You'll receive confirmation, exact address, and entry instructions. The booking process takes just minutes—perfect when your dog needs exercise, whether that's a reactive dog requiring safe space, a puppy needing socialization, or an energetic dog burning off steam.
What's the most popular dog hiking trail in Pasco?
Bill's 5 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Benton City is highly rated among Pasco dog hiking trails, known for excellent amenities and positive reviews. However, the "best" spot depends on your dog's needs—reactive dogs might prioritize privacy and quiet, puppies might need secure fencing, seniors might want flat terrain, while active dogs might want maximum running space. Browse Pasco listings to find your ideal match.
Can I use Pasco dog hiking trails for training sessions?
Yes! Pasco dog hiking trails are perfect for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice trail recall in natural environments, leash manners on varied terrain, or hiking endurance building, help reactive dogs build confidence, socialize puppies, or work on obedience—all without public dog park unpredictability. Many Pasco professional trainers use these spaces for client sessions with all types of dogs.
Do Pasco dog hiking trails accommodate multiple dogs?
Most Pasco dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings for specifics). If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward strange dogs or if you have mixed ages (puppies and seniors)—private dog hiking trails let them play together safely without outside interference or triggers.
What amenities do Pasco dog hiking trails offer?
Pasco dog hiking trails feature amenities like marked trail paths through natural terrain, open meadow areas for off-leash play, and shaded rest spots along the route. Many hosts provide extras: poop bags, water stations, toys, shaded seating, parking, even dog wash stations. Each Pasco listing clearly shows what's available. Look for amenities matching your dog's needs: shade for heat-sensitive breeds, water for swimmers, agility for active dogs, or privacy features for anxious pets.
Are Pasco dog hiking trails available year-round?
Many Pasco hosts maintain their dog hiking trails throughout all seasons. Filter for covered or climate-controlled options if weather matters. Indoor dog hiking trails provide year-round access regardless of Pasco weather conditions. Check individual listings for seasonal availability and policies.
