He was zooming around, kicking up dust, exploring, and living his best life the entire time. 🐾 He is VERY GOOD at recall btw!
The vineyard setting was beautiful and peaceful, and we loved having space where we didn’t have to worry about crowds or other dogs. If you have a high-energy dog that loves to run, sniff, and explore, this spot is definitely worth it. Biggie left happy, tired, and smiling… which is honestly the best review possible. 55This was a fun spot for our doggies. They loved running up and down the vineyard rows. The hilly part of the property tired them out. For us, the top of the property had a nice view. There were lots of different kinds of birds passing through the vine rows.
Things to consider for your time there is that the gate at the lowest point of the property doesn’t meet the ground and our large dogs (75lbs and 65lbs) could have easily gotten out. Paul was very clear to let us know that before we went in. However the chances of anyone walking by that area to give the desire to do so seems slim so we weren’t too worried. Perhaps if there were some wildlife outside that gate (squirrels for example) my dogs could have gone after them. There were also 2 places along the fence up on the hill where a little dog could get out. There are also a bunch of old cars on the lower part of the property which is adjacent to the house. We called our dogs away from that area, but didn’t see it as a problem for us.Jonathan F.

The spot is directly across the street from the owner, which is great for emergencies, but the spot itself is extremely private. The spot has multiple little trails and one that leads to the river. There are deer to watch (or chase if your my dog) and lots of sniffs to be had. For the first time in years my collie/doberman mix laid down to take a break mid trail, I was shocked and thrilled at the same time! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves their dogs 🥰 I would say the best place to park is all the way down to the tree line, I parked at the bottom of the hill and it was a little too close to the road for a reactive dog, and the terrain is easier on the paws further down.
