I offer an open front yard with a fountain and gazebo, a wooded area with a trail, and a fenced in backyard with a large porch, and fire pit. Indoor bathroom access by request, water available. I will also offer photography, day-care, snacks, grooming and overnight stays upon request for additional charges. Please knock for indoor bathroom access. I will be offering an indoor playroom soon! Wifi will be available and the grounds are under surveillance at all times. There is a designated smoking area, trash cans, dog waste disposal locations, and several fire pit locations. Access to water and first-aid will always be available!

Marathon runners love training here! Make sure the pups get to swim and splash in the clean flowing creek. Dogs get to be dogs here so bagging isn’t necessary but if you bag their waste, then take it to the provided garbage can. 🐶💕 *a upside down horse trough is provided for an extra seat and or table next to the fire pit and table which has wood stacked and ready for use. *The water can rise during floods coming into the back boundary field so accommodations have been adding a metal table and 4 metal chairs that shouldn’t wash away like the first one did 🙂 *please always check back for updates as the property continues to improve for pups and their parents 🐶💕 * ALWAYS close the gate behind you unless your told otherwise please 🐶💕

Duck River Ranch 3 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Field In Shelbyville

Welcome to the Duck River Ranch! Sitting on a little over 3 acres is a beautiful, open space for dogs to run! The 3 acre field is not fenced, however there is a small fenced off area on the side of the home. It’s a wire fence, 5 foot tall. Not super sturdy, but should keep dogs in if they don’t constantly jump on it (see pictures). Inside this area are two covered picnic tables (see pictures). The Duck River sits behind the property and adds a scenic touch to your visit. You can also hear the peaceful ripples of the water from the rapids down the way. There is access down to the river, however it is by a ladder or steep climb down the embankment. Use at your own risk. Otherwise, enjoy the platform that overlooks the river.

Welcome to the mountain! The drive up is beautiful, there’s a little general store on the corner to grab some snacks and beverages before you get to the house. Ample parking available. The entire back is fenced, over 5 acres fully fenced with pond and pool (1/1/2025 OUR POOL IS DOWN FOR RENOVATIONS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE 😭) (dogs allowed to swim in the pond and as soon as the pool is back up, duh!). Hose, kiddie pool both available. We do have 3 very dog savvy horses but they can be put up if your dogs aren’t horse friendly! Our dogs will stay inside to allow yours to roam- they are all kept on monthly prevention for flea/tick and deworming and we expect that of you as well! Fear not, most of the time a 15+ ER vet tech would be on site and we have a pretty well stocked emergency kit! We run a dog and cat rescue so these funds will help rescue animals immensely! Most of the pets in the pictures provided are of dogs I have watched for friends and family in the past. Oh, and no need to bag poo. 😁

We are currently building a house at the back of the property and construction equipment is in and out. Guests/dogs are able to roam the front part of the property. There is a fence separating the property from Maple Springs Road. We do have a 6 month old black lab and our neighbors have a couple dogs and multiple farm animals (sheep/horses) separated from our property by a fence. This is only available before planting and after harvest due to crops being planted.

there are 2 ways to get to this 5 acre field. there is nothing but trees a pond, rolling hills, mostle fenced in. there were horses that stayed in that field but hasnt been really touched in 6 years, other than bush hogging at least every other year. you can also access this property from center point acres road. you can pull in and close the gate behind you. its beautiful back there. the pond isnt knee deep. I put catfish in it to clean it up a bit but it wasnt deep enough. my dogs walk right thru it...lol
