Just outside the fence, you’ll find our brook, which guests are welcome to enjoy with leashed dogs—it’s a great spot for pups who love water! What’s included: * 4 ft tall fenced yard * Chairs + picnic table for relaxing * Water bowls * Dog toys * Poop scooper * Off-street parking (driveway) Important fencing notes (please read): The fencing is basic 4 ft wire fencing. Welcome to our Sniffspot area in Sturbridge (Fiskdale) MA. We are excited to provide an off leash play space for your furry bestie. **Winter alert: Other than a path from the driveway, the Sniffspot area is not shoveled and can be VERY icy and/or snow covered!! Conveniently located close to the Massachusetts Turnpike and Rte 84. The Sniffspot area is in a quiet residential, wooded area. There is a sportsman's club a ways down the road, and if there is an event, occasionally, the range can be audible. Most dogs have been completely unbothered by it. Last minute reservations are ok, but please understand, with minimal notice, we may not have the opportunity to completely refresh the play space. Please utilize the message option for questions and updates.

Groverland

The pool is open!! Please remember - it needs to be added as an “extra” and there is a limit of 3 dogs in the pool for the longevity of our filter and pump :) Groverland is a 2 acre fenced yard so you and your furry friend(s) have plenty of room to roam. Please be sure the gate latches when you come in and when you leave. We live next to a very busy road and want to ensure everyone's safety! We have toys in a bin on the steps to the deck. Feel free to use them, but please put them back when you are done. There are poop bags and wet wipes on the toy station as well. The poop bucket is next to the gate you came in. Water dishes will be on the pavers between the pool and the house. Use of the pool is an add on, so please be sure to mark that when you make your reservations. We will provide towels, pool toys, and life jackets for your use. Please hang the towels and life jackets on the fence when you have completed your visit. We do ask that you keep barking to a minimum. I have grumpy neighbors who disapprove of the Spot :) We are open from 10am - 4pm, but will sometimes make exceptions, so feel free to ask. Now for the Debbie Downer part - as the spot has gotten more popular, we are seeing things getting damaged and, as a result, have added a few rules. If you damage something, please let us know so we can address it. Things happen, so do not worry, we just need to know so we take care of it before the next guest. Pool rules: 1) No dogs on the pool furniture 2) Please do not prop the pool gate open Let us know if you have any questions!

About 1 acre fully fenced in yard with a 6 foot privacy fence, except the gate - (which is 4 ft chain link). Bench & patio furniture for the humans. Cushions are in the shed, please just return them to the shed after use. We have poop bags, a trash bucket, water dishes, and toys also in the shed along with a kiddie pool you can use. In the summer there is a water faucet attached to the barn, right in the yard to fill the kiddie pool or water bowls. A frost free faucet located right outside the fence, on the back of the house is usable all year. Both are fed from a natural spring on property for crystal clear water. Fitchburg Dog Park

Fitchburg Dog Park, located at 198 Townsend St in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, is a fully fenced enclosure where dogs and their owners can enjoy off-leash play. All dogs must have up-to-date licenses and vaccinations. Handlers must be 16 or older, with a maximum of three dogs per person. Aggressive dogs, excessive barking, and unattended dogs are not permitted. Owners must clean up after their dogs. No large dogs are allowed in the small dog enclosure. The park offers amenities such as agility equipment, dog drinking water, and tables. Dog training must be authorized beforehand. The park is open from 8:00 AM until dusk.

There is a water bowl and some poop bags on the cement slab in the backyard (please dispose of the full poop bags in the trash bin at the front of the house), 3 balls also available to play with. There is also a water hose available. If the dog water bowl has no water in it, you are welcome to use the hose to fill it! To get to the backyard, enter through the fence to the right of the garage/house. *Please note: We will remain open during the winter, use at your discretion because there will be snow out there at times.
