Our backyard is a wide open space with lots of fruit trees and plants for the sniffing! We have a large patio couch and umbrella to protect you from the sun. There is a basket of tennis balls for the pups enjoyment. We also include poop bags to clean up after your pup. On the back porch we have a utility sick and soap in case you need to wash your hands. The garden hose is also available for dogs that enjoy some water, we just ask you don’t let it run for your entire visit. You enter the yard through the gate in our carport.

Welcome to our backyard oasis! Feel free to use all the seating, umbrellas, and pool at your convenience. Conveniently located right off the Loop 101 in South Scottsdale! 🏝️Our pool has steps leading in, but it does get deep (about 8-9ft). Please be sure that any dogs/humans using the pool know how to swim. Safety is our top priority! Our pool cleaner comes every week on Friday afternoons. If you book during this time, please be aware of this. 🎾There are toys for your use by the entrance gate. Please try to put the toys back in the basket before you leave! Toys are welcome to be used in the pool as well. 💧 There is a bowl on the back wall next to our hose for dogs to drink from. The bowl is refilled in the mornings, but if you would like fresh water, please feel free to refill the bowl with our hose. Just be sure to turn the hose off after use. 🚫The concrete blocks around the yard are there for important reasons. They are either holding down umbrellas or are covering holes in the yard. Please DO NOT move the blocks for any reason. They are there for your safety. 💩There are poop bags in the green planter on the large glass table. Please pick up after your pooch and throw the used bags away in the black trash bin located to the left of the entrance gate. Clean beach towels will be folded on the chairs closest to the entrance gate. If you use a towel, please hang it on the back of any chair so that we know it is dirty and needs to be washed. Swim, run, and have fun!!!

Does life feel “ruff” sometimes? Maybe it’s time to run free in an enclosed private backyard with lots of grass. Or are you looking to “make your mark” in this world? Or perhaps you just want to “paws” and relax in the shade. If so, then Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for you....and your awesome human, too! Shaggy’s Shack in Tempe has lots of grass for running, chasing balls, and doing the zoomies! It’s fully enclosed with a 5 to 6-foot block wall and more than 25 trees and bushes to explore. You can play fetch with tons of toys and there’s a designated digging spot, too. Or maybe you just want to cool off in a diving pool that’s professionally cleaned every Wednesday–even during Tempe’s cold months. Oh, and Shaggy’s Shack also has features shaded chairs for your human to relax as they watch you explore, play fetch, swim, and have a pawsitively good time. Shaggy’s Shack’s residents (and their humans) will be home but out of sight. The entire lot is just shy of a half-acre, and it’s conveniently located in Tempe. Many dogs live in the area, they may bark in greeting when they hear you. We offer many pawsome amenities at Shaggy’s Shack, including bags and a trash can for your nature calls and a disposable water dish with lots of fresh water (and water for your human, too). Clean towels for drying off after you’ve doggie-paddled in the pool are also provided. Of course, use of the pool is at your and your human’s own risk. The pool is chlorinated and not heated in the winter months. Your human may use the pool to get a closer look at your pawsome doggie paddling technique. While we provide towels for you, we ask that your human brings their own towels. There is no fence or gate around the pool, and we strongly encourage you to bring your own doggie life vest if you do decide to get your paws wet. Discounts are available for multiple dogs. Visit times can be extended if there is availability. Respecting Sniffspot’s 30-minute transition time between visit times is very important. So that no one gets hurt or gets into something that could be dangerous, glass, alcohol and smoking are prohibited. All pups need to be up-to-date on all vaccinations to keep our resident and visiting doggos healthy. Since Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for dogs, please be mindful of your doggie to human ratio; kids are welcome but must be 100% supervised, especially around the ungated, unfenced pool. Pool bathroom is on the west side of the house and is marked. I'd say half of the bookings are people wanting to use the yard for large dog social gatherings. There is a sitting area under an oak tree and plenty of room for running around and playing with your dog or multiple dogs. We've had "Corgi" parties with 20 small dogs running around having fun. Please note(Warm weather Pool Access): To maintain the highest standards of water quality and safety, the pool is now a premium add-on feature. Why the extra fee? Doggy paddles are fun, but they require significantly more maintenance, specialized cleaning, and a higher balance of skin-safe chemicals to keep the water pristine for everyone. Sollie's Place: Private Parking! Pool, Agility, & Digging!

We bought this yard specifically for our reactive dog (Sollie). He absolutely loved it and really flourished here. He’s passed away now, so we want to share our yard with more doggies! Do agility, jump in the pool, dig some holes, and just generally create chaos. If you know for sure that you won't use the pool, send me a message. I might be open-minded to a discount. 😊 Agility equipment is the portable type, so it’s just 2 jumps and weave poles. Feel free to move it around. We don’t have seesaw or table obstacles. The tunnel finally gave up in 2025. It tried so hard, but the sun ☀️ was too much. RIP blue tunnel. There are 3 main sections to the yard, plus patio. A couple photos include Sollie, who was about 90 pounds, so you can see the scale of the yard. We have lots of amenities included to make your visit stress-free, plus a few items for purchase as Extras. Hope to "see" you soon! (You won't see us at all. :) ) FENCING: The interior divider fence was destroyed when a tree fell in a storm. We're still dealing with insurance. Those old fence panels are now being used to block off an Oleander bush while we remove it. Oleander is very common in Arizona, but it's toxic so we've chosen to remove it. Very small dogs may be able to fit through this interior fence. The main fence is still secure, and small dog approved! VACCINATIONS: Please double check that your doggie is up to date! 🐶💕 The parvovirus vaccine in particular is super important. The virus can survive in the soil for a year, which would not be fun!

Dog Enrichment Zone

Dog enrichment games available, as an add on, with homemade liver treats (oats, eggs, chicken liver). The zone is a great setting for the find it game. Water for dogs and poop bags available. There is a sitting area and the zone is lit up at night.

Emma's Enchanting Escape

At Emma’s Enchanting Escape you will find a fully fenced backyard with turf and rock for dogs to play and explore. Pet owners can relax on the loungers and even use the fire pit for a beautiful, peaceful evening. Water is always available for pets and humans alike! Additional chairs and seating available under the covered patio for those hot Arizona days. We will soon be adding kiddie pool and a beverage spot for owners too! Parking always available and easily accessible right in front of the location.

Esteban Dog Park in Phoenix, Arizona is a fully-fenced enclosure where dogs can socialize and play. Owners must clean up after their dogs using the provided waste containers and mutt mitt dispensers.
