The half acre fenced area consists of ample grass to run on, a concrete sidewalk / patio (handicapped accessible), mulchbeds of flowers & berries (feel free to grab a handful of berries if they’re in season!) and a giant sandbox / playground area. Tree cover throughout the yard provides shade, even in the hottest summer months. All around you is privacy—to one side, a half acre unfenced stretch of our property, and all around the property is 3.5 acres of private woods and wetlands. Deer, wild turkey, turtles, frogs, & birds of all kinds are just some of the animals you may spot! We provide tables and chairs, a half gallon thermos of water, poop bags & scooper, and several toys / treats. Kids (or kids at heart) will have a blast using the ride-on sand diggers, slides, and swings & coloring with sidewalk chalk. Fertilizer and pesticide: The grass is treated with fertilizer several times a year and the bushes are sprayed for ticks/mosquitos and weeds approximately monthly. As we have young kids and previously had pets, all products used are animal & child safe when dry (within 2 hours). Out of an abundance of caution, we will ensure reservations are blocked off for the entirety of the day following any fertilizer, herbicide, or pesticide treatment.

Hello! My name is Chandupa. Our backyard is available for your pet to sniff, play, rest, and roam around with you. I am committed to maintaining constant communication with you before and during your visit to address any questions, concerns, or issues that you may have. The size of the yard is approximately 6,426 square feet. Caveats: The landscaping looks worse in the early spring, late fall, and winter. The landscaping looks better in the late spring, summer, early fall, or in snow. There is a small steel garbage can where you can discard your poop bags before you leave, just inside the yard on the left side of the house (if you're looking at the house from the front). Since I also pet sit, your pet will have plenty of dog smells to sniff out in the backyard! Take Two Acres is a private, fenced two acre property that borders a working horse farm. It is a tranquil, open setting, surrounded by trees with lots of sun and shade for your fur baby's enjoyment. Many amenities are offered for you and your pups enjoyment of our space including toys, water hose and bowls, poo bags, and a large fire pit. We have two dogs of our own and do our best to pick up after them. Please understand it is a large property and they go out alone at night. We also have alot of deer traffic and other furry critters that we share our "piece of earth" with. Again, we do our best, but there are no guarantees you will not come across them (critters) or a land mine or two visiting out piece of earth.

We have a lovely large, mostly open, yard that offers a wonderful spot with room for dogs to run. The property has a bit of an incline, with beautiful views from the top. The fence is post and rail with wire fencing along it. Please note: There is a swimming pool in the backyard within the fence line; dogs are not allowed in the pool.
