55I love how the spot is constantly being improved. Today I saw that a lovely privacy fence had been put up between the sniffspot area and the other pastures on the property. So, now the visitor dogs are not visually seeing the other animals on the property and visa versa. Nice!

I love how the spot is constantly being improved. Today I saw that a lovely privacy fence had been put up between the sniffspot area and the other pastures on the property. So, now the visitor dogs are not visually seeing the other animals on the property and visa versa. Nice!

This was the first Sniffspot me and my dog had ever been to and it didn’t disappoint! So reasonably priced and so much space! Also toys, fresh water, and access to hose/ towels if your dog gets messy! I will definitely go back! It was so, so fun!! 😊 The host is very friendly and kind!

55Janet’s place was wonderful! My pups are high energy and love a safe place to run and explore, this checked every box. The fencing was adequate and the area is so big my dogs didn’t even know they were contained. Janet greeted me upon arrival and gave me the details which was great. Fresh cold water, chairs, a picnic table with human games, and a bin of toys for the dogs were all available. 55I love how Janet has been consistently making upgrades to her Spot, and those upgrades are in such great interest of the dog visitors AND human visitors! For example, she changed the parking area so dogs & their humans don’t have to walk as far in our recent high temperatures, she has a poop bin in the Sniffspot itself (used to be up by the house), and the water and toys in the Sniffspot itself (also used to be up by the house, which I didn’t really think twice about, but their updated location is so convenient).
She has added a couple of chairs (camp chairs, easy to move if you need to find shade) and a nice quality picnic table with human card games & board games.
OH! This upgrade is stellar, especially for reactive dog owners: A visual barrier along the fence line in which your dog can see her dogs. There is still a chance your dog will see her dogs (from the car to the spot, and by the entrance gate), but they are a decent distance away in the opposite direction of the spot. The visual barrier upgrade is WONDERFUL!

Our dogs are crazy about fetch and I loved being able to throw the ball far for them. They aren’t fans of other dogs so we can’t do dog parks. The grass is a bit longer than a lawn you might be used to in the city that’s mowed every week, but that’s to be expected on such a large property and we knew that ahead of time. It wasn’t an issue at all, I’d just recommend long pants. The fence was definitely sufficient for our dogs and the space is so large they wouldn’t try to get away anyways. Janet’s dogs are visible and bark upon arrival but that didn’t even come close to being an issue (our reactive dogs didn’t notice or care). They are far away and in a separate enclosure. Janet provides toys for dogs (though we used our own) and games for humans and a large water trough which is so helpful in the summer. Thank you, Janet, for sharing your property with us. 55This spot started out great, but it is even better now! There's a really big water trough up front. Now that it's summer, that's a big help for my dog. The are beautiful flowers on the ground for human enjoyment. And just such a nice area for my dog to run and sniff and enjoy. My mom appreciated the nice picnic table and benches to rest at. The mowed paths through the trees in the back are my favorite part. My dog loved that area too.
