55This property has a large, flat, closely-mowed lawn - a great spot for romping without getting too muddy! Plenty of room to park within the securely fenced area. There is an adjacent fenced area within this property with a very handsome goat and a couple chickens. The fencing between areas is high and secure, but it's just something to be aware of if your dog is likely to obsess over being able to see livestock. Jaclyn R.

55Though Isaac’s “sniff spot” is not well identified as such, the house number you’ve been given is clearly visible at the gate. It is a very nicely fenced and the yard is huge, encompassing the residence, RV storage, goat and chicken pens. Though there are few trees (cypress along the fence) the yard is clean, nicely manicured and without the holes and rocks so often found in these places. It’s a great place to do some fast walking/jogging for you, with sniffing, running and fetching for your dog. Even with a light rain (and the right clothes) there is no issue with mud since most everything is gravel or grass. We (two dogs and I) enjoyed our hour at Isaac’s very much and will definitely be back again. Deborah B.

FAQ About Pleasant Hill Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 1% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Pleasant Hill area are 5 stars.
