Come, take a walk through my yard, into the woods and down a slope to get to Cazenovia Creek. While down by the creek, you will most likely not encounter another human being. The piece of creek is bordered by Northrup, Transit and the bridge on Southwestern Boulevard. Feel free to explore through the woods in solitude, it is a 10 minute walk down to the creek. I have an unfenced yard, so please have your furry friend on a leash if they are not leash trained. Once you get into the woods, you are more than welcome to go off leash. This is definitely a walk for boots or hikers. If it has been raining, the trail down will be muddy. The walk to the slope is wooded with many obstacles but definitely walkable ducking here and there under a branch.

Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. We host a beekeeper who has about 40 hives on a well-marked and avoidable section of one trail. The bees are out only from April to October but please avoid the hives anyway. Read the reviews to get a good sense for what kind of experience you will have. We are grateful for all the positive feedback and pledge to make your experience just as fantastic.
