Welcome to Durham Regions only Sniffspot with in ground salt water pool, and fully fenced 1 acre grass yard! 6 ft high privacy fence allowing your dog to zoom around the whole 1 acre backyard! 🤩 We absolutely love dogs, having 5 rescue dogs of our own, we know how tough it can be to find a safe and secure property for them to run and enjoy themselves! So we created our own little backyard heaven for them and would love to share it with others ! Whether it be your dog needs lots of space to run, or prefers to take it slow and sniff around, maybe they are a bit shy or reactive to other dogs/people, our backyard is the perfect space for them to relax, feel safe and explore on their own terms! Lakes in Ontario are often full of high levels of 🦠 bacteria, which can be harmful to pets, don’t risk it, stay safe by bringing them to the pool ☺️ Is it your pups birthday ?? We can set up a table for them for an extra $15 in “extras” - includes tablecloth, banner, dog treats and birthday hat 🎩 We can also accommodate “ Paw-ties”!! 🐾🥳. For up to 20 dogs! For cost please send us a message! We do have 5 rescue dogs, so you may hear some barking from inside, but there will be NO visible or personal contact from our dogs. Pool- if you would like to use the pool with your dog, we would be happy to have you come kick back and relax 😎 This is an additional fee per person per hour and must be booked in the “extra” section when booking in your dog(s) We will provide a towel and pool float for you! 🥰 4 people max, and for 2 hours max. (longer bookings can be accommodated for a fee) No children under 3 in the pool please. No alcohol permitted on the property. There is free street parking either on our street or the side street beside us ✨We don’t supply life jackets for dogs/humans. So if you or your pet is unsure about swimming it is recommended to bring one. ✨ We donate 10% of all profits to a dog rescue that is near and dear to our heart! So we appreciate every single one of you and by visiting us you help dogs in need! 🐶🥹❤️ Max people on property is 4! (We can accommodate larger groups but for an extra fee) IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD this is out of our hands, and is put in place by Sniffspot. They also take 22% off the top from us. We looked at a local kennel close to us with a pool, and seen they charge $20 for 20 minutes. So total it would be $60 for an hour. Plus there are lots of other dogs at the facility which doesn’t work well if you have a reactive dog. We on the other hand are 100% private just for you, and our prices are per hour not just 20 minutes. We wanted to price ourselves as fairly as we could to cover our cost, while still staying as cheap as we could for your pet! 🥰 Safety note- You are fully responsible and liable for your personal safety, your kids safety, and your dogs Safety while in the pool and/or on the property and by booking you acknowledged this and have agreed to this. ***Charges in USD*** Come enjoy our 100 acre property with an established trail, a pond and a hilltop area with a picnic table, seating and fire pit. We are located only 10 minutes west outside of Peterborough. Our property is home to wildlife such as turkeys and deer - although it may be rare to spot them. **WINTER DISCLAIMER** Due to the size of our property, our trails are not plowed during the winter so we highly recommend wearing winter boots, spikes, snowshoes to enjoy the trails.

Enjoy our 72 x 170 fully fenced in private yard with your pup! Some features: - plenty of shady and sunny areas all throughout the day! - covered area for humans during inclement weather. - we will have things like balls/frisbees around but, strongly suggest to bring your own toys/balls to prevent any potential cross-contamination. - access to ravine/creek that is privately owned (NOTE: the ravine area is NOT fenced in and there are property lines that have to be respected. We do NOT recommend this for any dog that does not have a solid recall. But, feel free to leash up and explore!) Bug spray recommended as well and will be provided in the summer months by the gate! ***ACCESS TO CREEK IS OPEN*** Please take note with the spring thaw/rain, the walkway down to the creek may be slippery and the creek may swell after heavy rainfalls. Always take care to check water level from behind the gate before entering. Please use discretion. ****Note: My spot will be closed during heavy rain days and could be closed the following day to allow drying. This is how I can continue to offer a completely mud free space for your pups! ****Note: you will be charged in USD. No service fees and no tax :) (All Canadian Sniffspots are charged in USD) ****Note: VACCINATIONS: Sniffspot requires that all visiting dogs have current DHPP or DA2PP (distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus), and rabies vaccines or current titers and requires guests to confirm this via an “honour system”. While I am not currently asking to be provided with proof of vaccination, I do reserve the right to ask for proof of vaccination at any time. I do hope everyone will be forthcoming and honest as to not harm anyone else’s pets including my own dog. Thank you!

Our fenced play area stretches out over half an acre, offering plenty of room for fun and frolics. Beyond this, there’s over an acre of open land, surrounded by protective trees. While this larger expanse isn’t fenced, it’s perfect for those who feel comfortable letting their dogs roam a bit more freely. It's an ideal spot for epic games of fetch and ball throwing—our favorite way to spend the day with our furry friends. So, come on over and enjoy this vast, verdant playground where the possibilities for adventure are endless! At Magz Spot, you’ll find cozy seating spots, lush fruit trees, a vibrant vegetable garden, and a sparkling swimming pool. Please stay poolside with your pup for their safety and to keep our pool looking pristine—no rogue paw prints on the liner! Though the pool is chlorinated, don't fret; our own dogs take the plunge, and a quick hose-down afterward does the trick. It’s like a mini spa day! Our property is like a slice of cottage country—scenic and serene, perfect for adventure and relaxation. As you explore, you might catch a glimpse of some local wildlife like frogs, bunnies, coyotes, coywolves, or deer peeking from beyond the fence. It’s a real nature show! Gently sloping yard toward the lake, which has a nice gradual slope into the water. A dock in the summer. Hammock and chairs to relax in by the water or under a nice tree in the shade on those hot days.

As are their owners. If you are not a strong swimmer, please wear a life jacket. I’m terrified of drowning, so please respect this request. We share our backyards with our neighbours, so please be respectful of noise. Dogs bark, but people screaming can be difficult to accept. I’m joining sniff spot mostly so doggies have a chance to swim in summer. If you have any requests that aren’t listed, please contact me as I may be able to accommodate.

Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails. Please access the trails from Concession 6, not our driveway at the front on Concession 5/Durham regional road 15. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. We are currently working on a sign for the Concession 6 entrance for better access. Tip for finding the place: There is an unused culvert laying across the entrance of the trails at the back of the property. Please park on the road. Enjoy your visit!
