Charlie's Hideaway fully fenced 9 acres in Black Forest

Fully Fenced
9 acres

We will be temporarily closed for the month of August for repairs and maintenance - September reservations can be made starting 8/1. See you in September! Welcome to Charlie’s Hideaway - your dog's new favorite adventure spot! 🐾🐾 This 9-acre, fully fenced native pasture (with 4’ wire square fencing) is made for sniffing, zoomies and exploring. Rolling hills, patches of short and tall grass & a sandy area give your pup plenty of variety to roam and investigate. This private space is also a great fit for reactive dogs or those who need a calm, low-traffic environment. Street parking is available near the entrance and a two-gate entry system provides an added layer of security - allowing you to enter at your own pace and help your dog transition calmly into the space. As you come through the gate, you'll find a covered canopy and welcome station with fresh water, clean bowls, poop bags, toys and towels - everything you need for a comfortable visit. Chairs are available so you can sit back, relax and soak in those gorgeous Pike Peak views while your dog does their thing. Wildlife sightings are part of the charm - you may see hawks overhead, rabbits in the grass and occasionally deer passing by. Two resident barn cats also live on the property, but they're very shy and rarely seen. Please help keep Charlie's Hideaway clean and enjoyable for everyone by picking up after your dog (poop bags are provided and a trash can is located at the gate). Please review the Sniffspot visitor guidelines before your visit and then come ready to enjoy a peaceful, private outing with your pup!

**ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING (OF ANY KIND) ON PROPERTY DUE TO FIRE RISK.** Private Mountain Forest Dog Adventure – Creek, Trails & Total Privacy. Let your dog explore 30 acres of private Colorado mountain forest with fresh air, tall pines, and peaceful trails. Wildlife are sometimes seen in the area, which adds to the peaceful mountain experience. 6 Acres of Off-Leash Freedom Where Your Dog Can Be A Dog

Partially Fenced
5 acres

Let your dog run, sniff, explore, and just be a dog. Our private 6-acre property offers wide-open fields, fresh country air, and plenty of room for zoomies, fetch, training, or peaceful walks away from crowded parks. Perfect for reactive dogs, high-energy breeds, recall training, or anyone looking for a safe space to enjoy time outdoors with their pup. The property is fully private during your visit, giving you and your dog the freedom to relax and explore at your own pace. ✔ 6 acres of open space ✔ Great for running, sniffing, and training ✔ Peaceful rural setting ✔ Private bookings only ✔ Plenty of room for multiple dogs Please note: The property is partially fenced. There is a fence line around much of the property that provides a clear boundary to follow, but there are areas with gates and openings, so this is not a fully enclosed space. We also have chickens, ducks, and sheep housed in secure pens on the property. Most dogs do great with this setup, but if your dog has a very high prey drive, is known to jump fences, or may attempt to access livestock, please use caution and assess whether this environment is a good fit. Come enjoy a little slice of Colorado where tails can wag freely.

Frank's Place - 5 Acres of Play Space

Fully Fenced
5 acres

Welcome to our private, fully fenced 5-acre Sniffspot on Frank Road, designed for safe off-leash play and relaxed exploring. This is a quiet, secure space where dogs can run freely, sniff to their hearts’ content, and enjoy real outdoor enrichment without the stress of public dog parks. Many guests find it ideal for reactive dogs, shy dogs, high-energy dogs, or dogs that simply love having room to roam. The property includes a mix of open running areas and natural tree-lined spaces, giving dogs variety while owners enjoy mountain views, peaceful surroundings, and benches for resting. The entire area is fully fenced so you can relax while your dog explores. You’ll find poop bags and a trash bucket provided, and there is plenty of space to wander at your own pace. My own dogs are small dachshunds, so I pay attention to secure fencing and safe access for small dogs as well as large dogs. If this is your first visit, take a moment to browse the photos to see the layout and features, and read the reviews to hear what other visitors and their dogs enjoy most. When you're ready, choose a time and book a visit — we’d love to host you.

What amenities do Ramah dog hiking trails typically include?

Ramah dog hiking trails feature amenities designed for natural exploration and varied terrain: wooded trails, open meadows, and varied natural terrain, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Ramah hosts customize their spaces. Browse 7 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

How much does it cost to use Ramah dog hiking trails?

Sniffspot runs on a membership model with monthly and annual plans that include credits toward Ramah dog park bookings. Members get discounted rates at participating Ramah spots, and new users can start with a 7-day free trial. There are no surprise booking fee. Your credits cover the reservation. Browse Ramah dog hiking trails listings to see individual spot pricing, and check your membership dashboard to see how many credits you have available.

How clean are private dog hiking trails in Ramah compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Ramah see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog hiking trails have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Ramah hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Ramah dog hiking trails on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Ramah dog hiking trails offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Ramah private dog hiking trails let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog hiking trails in Ramah?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Ramah that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Ramah dog hiking trails have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Ramah dog hiking trails allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Ramah dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Ramah where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Ramah dog hiking trails for special events?

Many Ramah dog hiking trails welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Ramah hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Ramah dog hiking trail listings for event policies.

How do Ramah dog hiking trails accommodate dogs with special needs?

Ramah dog hiking trails are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Ramah special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
