Hi! I’m Joanne, and this is my dog Nifty’s favorite place in the world—so I thought I’d share it with other wonderful dogs and their people. We have 15 private acres with woods, open fields, and river access, and it’s been such a gift for my dog to have a safe space to run freely. I know not every dog thrives at dog parks, so I wanted to create a peaceful alternative. This space is especially loved by dogs who need a little extra room or prefer a quieter environment. The property is fenced along the two “long sides” which encourages your dog to stay nearby but with lots of roaming space. The fence is NOT fully secure. Please see the section about fencing. Near the cabin, there’s a cozy seating area where you can relax under the trees while your dog enjoys the space. We’re so happy to share this space with you and your pup! Walnut Hill Private Dog Park

Property known as Walnut Hill has 30+ acres of unfenced woods and rough trails of nearly two miles. Dogs are free to run untethered if appropriate for the dog and handler.

Ticket to Heaven Animal Sanctuary

Ticket to Heaven is a small rescue farm sitting on a total of 75 acres, where we provide visits to learn about horses, farm and rescue. We have both farm and small animals in our care. In addition to a fully fenced run area (maybe 1.5-2 acre) and an easily accessible private trail loop. All proceeds through sniffspot go directly to the Sanctuary.

Barbie's 40 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Canterbury

Property has a 2800 foot driveway to a farm a Campground and a swamp. Fields around along with Forest land and wildlife. Welcome Shed for campers, has items for Sniffspot on an honor system basis. Enjoy a camp spot to rest or chairs or benches through the field or camp sites. Visit the farm with your pup leashed during the visit up to house and barn. This is the only place a leash is needed on the property.

Benedictine Park
