55I haven't woods walked aka off trail hiked in a long time and I forgot how fun it is. My dogs had a blast! Still some snow on the ground but I wanted to get out before tick nymph season. Wish I had come to do some snowshoeing with the dogs this winter. My dogs (especially 14 month old mini aussie) loved the water features Thanks for making your land available!!Jennifer O.

55I have lived in the area for over 20 years. A lot of people have moved into the area and have taken over all of the places that were perfect for letting dogs off leash.
I was driving around with my dogs for over an hour trying to find a place with no people so I could let my dogs out. I remembered someone telling me about sniffspot.
This place was on the list. I have driven by this location every day and never knew it was here.
I liked it and the dogs liked it.
We weren’t able to stay long but I plan on renting again when I have more time.
FYI. I am very familiar with the area. The ticks are bad all year long.

55Great area for the dogs to run around. Trails aren’t marked and they hadn’t been used since the last snow fall so we made up our own path. Will definitely be back.Katie S.

55Great place! We picked a super cold day so the boys were done after only 30 minutes, but our younger one LOVED being off leash. The trail we went on had some sections with low thorny plants but if you walked off the trail more into the woods you could avoid it (especially helpful for smaller dogs whose faces are closer to the ground, or if your dog is wearing a coat that might get snagged lol) overall it was a great and we will be back on a warmer day!Kata L.

55Great visit! Dogs had a great time exploring. Thick pants ideal for prickly brush. If your dog spooks during hunting season, there were a lot of gunshots (rapid fire) during our visit. Our dogs were too interested in smells to care and I used it as a training and confidence building opportunity!Laura B.

55Perfect spot for our dog to explore without any other dogs around to distract her. Terrain was easy for the dog to traverse however I recommend hiking boots as the surface is not flat in all areas. Jennifer S.

Frequently asked questions about Raymond dog hiking trails
Why are private dog hiking trails better than public dog parks in Raymond?
Private dog hiking trails in Raymond eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Raymond's 11 private dog hiking trails offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.
How safe are Raymond dog hiking trails compared to public dog parks?
Raymond dog hiking trails are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Raymond dog hiking trails eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.
Are Raymond dog hiking trails safe for reactive dogs?
Raymond owners of reactive dogs choose dog hiking trails because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy natural exploration and varied terrain while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Raymond reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.
Can anxious dogs safely use Raymond dog hiking trails?
Yes! Raymond dog hiking trails provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a natural outdoor path where dogs can explore varied terrain off-leash in a safe, private environment at their own pace without stress. Many Raymond dog hiking trails offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.
Are Raymond dog hiking trails good for small dogs?
Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Raymond dog hiking trails because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Raymond avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog hiking trails eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.
Do Raymond dog hiking trails work for senior dogs?
Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Raymond dog hiking trails because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Raymond dog hiking trails with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.
What do Raymond dog owners say about dog hiking trails?
Reviews of Raymond dog hiking trails consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Tioga Tail Trails is particularly praised in Raymond. Read reviews to see real experiences from Raymond dog owners with similar needs.
How clean and maintained are Raymond dog hiking trails?

Many Raymond hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning.
