Dickason estate Private Dog Park In Yucaipa

Fully Fenced

Country and forest life, rolled into one! Located in Wildwood Canyon, near Wildwood Canyon State Park with beautiful large Ancient Black Oak Trees that tower over our spot for natural shade. We have been Sniffspot hosts for over a year and have even been featured in Sniffspot promotional videos for unique host properties and experiences, along with being a top spot. Please copy & paste the link below to see! 😇 https://youtu.be/6UHu4j3NoDQ?si=ASnGUFC2VFMSTv_6 Only 1-2 minutes away from Oak Glen and often used as a backdrop for local photographers. We are truly interested in just providing a safe and fun place for pups to roam and explore without having to worry about other pups at the same time. We have never raised our prices and never will. With a fully fenced area for your fur babies (big and small) to run and explore. While pup parents can sit and relax, walk around the grounds, take a hike on our small backtrail, or swing, it is perfect for pups, adults, and children to enjoy (especially during the summer and snowy months). If your fur baby needs water after so much excitement and play, please feel free to give them water (which is accessible throughout the property), so they have a restful trip home. ❤️ We take pride in giving our fur visitors the best possible experience, along with keeping their human parents in mind. We set out some extras for not only the pups, but also the humans, without any extra charge. Our goal is to make you feel welcomed as soon as you reserve your Sniffspot time and before walking onto our property. ❤️ It's a little piece of heaven that we enjoy daily and decided to open it up to our community. We also have our very own yard guardian, that we named BLUE (featured in our main property photo). He protects the rest of the small birds such as the finches and blue jay's from the crows and hawks. He is always perched on the railing of the deck between 7am to about 11am. 💙 We hope to see ya'll soon!

Cherry Valley Acres Private Dog Run🐾🥰

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Please read this description carefully before booking! We are a farm, not a manicured backyard . You will see horses, maybe goats, and my chickens in their enclosed coop in the dog run yard. Note 2/5/2026: it is beautiful and green right now, so bring the pups! Entrance to the acre is the dirt/mulch field road just south of the residence driveway.  A quick call to me ~ 909-234-2072 ~ when you arrive for 1st time visits will help guide you into the Sniffspot - which is all the way back to the Sniffspot Sign 🪧 at the back of the entrance acre.  The entrance gate is to the right of the Sniffspot Sign. Park anywhere you like close to the entrance gate, but kindly leave the mulch road clear. Close the gate tightly behind you when you enter. And be sure to close the gate tightly behind you upon your departure. I also request that you give me a quick text upon your departure. Our Alaskan Malamute and Siberian Husky also love running in this acre, and they love to dig, as do many of our Sniffspot pups! We try to fill in holes every few days, BUT PLEASE be extremely cautious of any holes. If we hadn't had time to fill them in, we usually would put a tall stick straight up right in the middle of the hole to help you determine where they may be. But because we are a farm, and this is one of our extra acre fields, there may be slight dips here and there, a hole where the dog just before your visit may have had fun digging for a gopher, and we hadn't had time to fill it, so agreeing to this reservation is a full and complete release of liability, so please don't fall! So far, so good, fingers crossed, nobody has yet.😊🌻 There may be foxtails at edges of some fencing. My Red Barn Chicken Coop🐤is inside the dog run acre and will be securely locked during your visit. If possible, discourage your pups from pouncing on the enclosed chicken run fences/doors. Totally understand if they do/try! Pups get a pass the first few times until their humans can train them not to do it. Our Husky and Malamute still need a good reminder every time they are enjoying the dog run acre : ) but once they get used to the fact that chickens are there, interest soon dwindles : ) We also have a few outdoor 🐈cats whom have adopted our farm to live at during the years (win/win as they help keep the field 🐁 mice in check, and they pretty much know to clear out of the field when pups are visiting!) There are three horses on a separate enclosed acre to the north of the dog run acre. The tan one is 🐴Classy, and the black and white one is 🐴Gypsy. And again, please thank you for discouraging the dogs from jumping on that fence. It has never been an issue in the past, so just a reminder :-) PLEASE NOTE: This Dog Run Acre is grassy/green with wildflowers 🌻 starting around December 1st - June 15th and dry/brown July 1st - November🏜. We enjoy our Sniffspot humans and pups year-round and have received wonderful reviews, whether it was the dry, hotter summer months, or the green, cooler winter months! We have an automatic water spicket 🚰 for the pups, tight left after entering the Dog Acre gate, then all the way back to the fence on the left, spicket sticking out through fence.  There will be several chairs 🪑set up in front of the chicken coop, with table, chairs, and table umbrella, and additionally a small table w/☂️umbrella provided under the pine trees. Bring drinks, snacks, toys, and enjoy! We suggest you book early mornings in the SUMMER months as there is shade under the pine trees 🌲up until around 11 a.m.  We are up before 7 a.m., so any time early is fine! 🌄 Please bring your own doggie poop bags!  Gather all poop and tie bags and place it in the waste bin at Sniffspot entrance.🗑 Please note that we do have security cameras placed in various positions around property, including at the sniff spot! We have caught many a coyote, mountain lion, dogs, and bobcats wandering around the chicken coop on these cameras and have been able to shew them away several times through the speakers! Enjoy! Arrrffff :)

**MARCH 24th UPDATE** We have a new Paw-liday grooming station!! You can add it on for an even $10 through the reservation portal, or donate $5+ on arrival, depending on what you use. Only brushes are free!! See pics for details :) March 13th update** The entrance gate was starting to not close properly, but it’s fixed! The gate works great! The yard looks beautiful! Come on over for a visit! Th MARCH 9 update** Stream and mud are all dried up! And foxtails are always being proactively removed!! Come on over for a visit while the weather is amazing!!! 🤩 March 2 UPDATE** I wanted to let you know we have a stream running through the property, so puppy paws are likely to get wet 🐶. Please see pics for details Rainy day update, Feb 18, 2026** The SniffSpot is sooo beautiful right now!!! The ground is definitely wet, but not muddy. There may be puddle present where water collects when you arrive that could create mud depending on how much fun they have with it. If they avoid it, no mud at all. Please see pictures. Come let your fur babies get their energy out! ** **DECEMBER 2025 update** My kids just added a DIY puppy paw print ornament station for you to do with your pup on site!! Cash or Zelle accepted. Happiest of Holidays!!!! **UPDATE OCTOBER 2025** We have updated the entry way! There are steps and a ramp leading to hours of play! Please note, the ground is still brown because we let nature water the area. Fall is here and so is the gorgeous weather!!! We can't wait to serve you!! Please note before booking: We have entered summer! The ground is dirt (no more grass) and bugs may be out to play with us in this warmer weather. Please stay hydrated and bring bug spray just in case!! :) Happy Sniffing!! UPDATE 6/4/25** We take foxtails very serious and understand how hard it is to control in SoCal. That being said we've recently learned about weed burners and are very happy to announce it work fantastically against foxtails!!! See pictures! If you come to visit, there may be charred weeds/foxtails that makes the SniffSpot safe for your visiting pups!!! We VERY MUCH VALUE your visit and hope that foxtails will not hinder your enjoyment. We continuously strive for 5 star ratings. Nothing less. Please let us know if there is any way we can improve. We love the feedback. HAPPY SNIFFING!!!! **UPDATE 3/12/25** We have dug out a new, more gentle pathway into the SniffSpot!! Check out the new photos! They're in the dark because we just finished and I couldn't be more excited to share the news and could not wait until morning. This is thanks to a visitor who suggested a handrail! Which will be added to the pathway soon! You may have noticed... We've added some more tire fun and rearranged the tree stumps... see how many puppy feet you can find!! **UPDATE 11/24/24** We have added a wash/wipe down station for those muddy paws! Plus some doggie cushions for your pup to have a soft spot to relax :). We've also added some additional seating on the opposite end so you can enjoy the yard from a different angle! Please see the pics for details :) **UPDATE 8/27/24** We are adding a log stump obstacle course for our furry visitors!!! Right now there are 9 stumps for your pooch to scale and enjoy. (See last picture) Stay tuned, though!! I'll be adding more as the week goes by!! And thanks to a visitors idea, we will also be adding an A-frame within the week!! I have to build it first ;). Stay tuned!! **UPDATE 7/25/24** We now have low-light solar powered lights installed for those who'd like to visit in darker hours!! Though you are encouraged to still bring flashlights:) Welcome to our little Adventure Park for Dogs! We are 100% run by my kids and I :). Please don't hesitate to reach out! As you arrive, you will park alongside our quiet street on graded dirt that may be slightly uneven in certain areas. You are visiting a residential home. You'll enter the property using the smaller, side gate and walk your pet(s) on a leash along the driveway for about 100 yards (past the deck). You reach a small, white gate to the right. Once you pass through this gate and it is properly latched behind you, you may unleash your pet. There are steps down to the play space. **Most of the land your pet will play on is uneven** **Land is always beautiful, but is green from first rain until May or June, then brown during summer until first rain** **We are fellow dog lovers! During your visit, our dogs will be enclosed uphill and away about 60 feet from the main play space, with two layers of vegetation and fences in between. Their enclosure is located on the far side of the home behind a different fence that cuts off the NW corner of the yard (see photos). The SniffSpot area DOES NOT share a fence with our dogs. You may hear a random bark from them, but that's it. Other details: The rental area is to the right of the driveway and is fenced in by a 3ft fence along two sides, and a 4ft chain link fence on the other two sides. The area is about 3/4 acre. It includes plenty of room for your pup to run, jump and play! There are small hills, trees, and huge boulders. Natural lighting only. Under the second deck there are hammock swings guests may use. Please, no pets on swings. Visitors may also utilize the deck closest to the house, but pets must be leashed on the deck, as it overlooks the play space and is not part of the fenced area. We may or may not be home. We do not typically interact with visitors to maximize your privacy, but would love to meet you if requested! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns before/during/after your visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out via the communication tool in the app. We very much value your visit and feedback! We hope you enjoy your visit!!

Frequently asked questions about Running Springs dog parks

Are there dog parks in Running Springs for reactive dogs?

Yes! Running Springs has 535 private dog parks specifically designed for reactive, anxious, or dog-selective pets. Unlike public dog parks where unexpected encounters can trigger your reactive dog, Sniffspot offers completely private bookings. That means only you and your dogs will be there. We enforce 30-minute buffers between visits so you won't run into other park users when arriving or leaving. This makes Running Springs Sniffspots perfect for reactive dogs who need safe off-leash exercise.

How many private dog parks are in Running Springs?

Running Springs has 535 private Sniffspot locations ranging from cozy backyard spaces to expansive properties spanning 24.2+ acres. You'll find fully fenced dog parks, small dog parks, and dog fields options, each offering complete privacy during your reserved time. Browse listings to compare sizes, amenities, fencing, and reviews from other Running Springs dog owners.

Are Running Springs dog parks friendly for all dog types?

Absolutely! Running Springs Sniffspot locations work for every type of dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer away from large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space to run, and yes, reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. Because bookings are completely private, you can customize the experience to your dog's specific needs—whether that's careful puppy introductions or stress-free exercise for nervous dogs.

Will there be other dogs at Running Springs dog parks?

No, that's what makes Sniffspot different from public dog parks! We only allow one booking at a time, and host dogs must be kept away during your visit. When you book a Running Springs dog park, you have the entire space to yourself (plus any dog-owning friends you invite). This privacy is crucial for reactive dogs, puppies in training, or any dog who needs space from other animals.

What makes Running Springs dog parks safe for anxious dogs?

Running Springs Sniffspot locations provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. There are no aggressive dogs, no inattentive owners, and no unexpected encounters that could traumatize anxious or fearful dogs. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars, with many highlighting how safe their reactive or anxious dogs felt.

Can puppies use Running Springs dog parks?

Absolutely! Running Springs dog parks are ideal for puppy socialization because they provide controlled, distraction-free environments. Puppies can practice recall, build confidence, and explore without the overwhelming chaos of public dog parks. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting any Running Springs Sniffspot.

Are Running Springs dog parks good for small dogs?

Yes! Many Running Springs Sniffspot hosts mark their spaces as "small dog friendly," meaning they're appropriately sized for toy breeds and small dogs. Unlike public dog parks where small dogs risk being overwhelmed or injured by larger breeds, Running Springs private bookings give your small dog the entire space to themselves. Look for secure fencing with minimal gaps and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

What are the requirements for Running Springs dog parks?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. Each Running Springs host may have additional requirements listed on their booking page. Most welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit traditional public dog parks.
