Welcome! Tucked away in downtown Antioch is a hidden one-acre private dog park where dogs can run, sniff, zoom, dig, splash, and play to their heart's content. Reservation only - just you and your dog. 🐾 For the Dogs: I have a feeling you're going to love this backyard. It's a full acre of fenced-in freedom, hidden behind the houses like a secret playground. There's plenty of open space for epic zoomies, mature trees that are almost certainly hiding squirrels, and even a special corner where digging is enthusiastically encouraged. If you visit after a good rain, you might discover a muddy little spot that's perfect for rolling around and getting dirty (you're welcome.) No rain? No problem. Cool off in the doggy splash pad instead. Of course, you'll also find plenty of other toys waiting for you, like tennis balls, frisbees, and those squeaky toys you love to throw into the air (you know the ones). For the Humans: While your pup burns off some energy, you can enjoy a surprisingly peaceful and serene backyard, especially considering it's only a half block off Main Street in downtown Antioch. In the middle of the yard you'll find our old chicken house. It retired from raising chickens years ago and really just sits there looking cute. But it does have a little patio with chairs, a basket of dog toys, and a water spigot with fresh water for thirsty pups. 🌳 The Property: Our property is located just north of Sequoit Creek Park and the Antioch Public Library, only a half block off Main Street. The backyard is fully fenced and has convenient, direct access from the driveway. Guests have two dedicated parking spaces in the large circular driveway, set well away from the house. The yard is usually quiet and peaceful. Occasionally, the neighbors' two friendly dogs may be outside. This spot is best for solo dogs, small packs, puppies, nervous dogs, city/suburban dogs who need a reset, and owners who want a calmer off-leash option. Book the space for fetch, training practice, decompression time, puppy confidence-building, or a quiet sniff session. The yard is private during your booking. Please leash dogs when entering and exiting, clean up after your visit, and leave the space as you found it. Water, seating, trash access, and basic dog-friendly setup are available where noted in the listing. My Sniffspot is just south of I-94 and across from Lower Nemahbin Lake access. You will see a foster care sign at the end of the driveway. The address is 1635 North Sawyer Road. It is well-marked. We do have beehives (located near the barn), fenced ducks & chickens (not visible from the field), and barn cats that wander the area. One rooster free ranges but he and none of the other animals will approach you or your dogs. You may also see deer or wild turkeys. Because we want all of these animals, including your dogs to be safe, please keep dogs on leash when outside the field and be in control of them at all times. The private dog park has 3 agility jumps, 1 short tunnel, and miniature weave poles. Feel free to adjust any of the jumps to fit your dog(s)' jump height. You can also create your own agility course! The park provides a cot, three chairs, some toys, and 2 throwing sticks. The Toys are located on top of a purple bin and there are more toys inside of the bin you can take out! A hose/sprinkler is provided in the summer! More agility equipment will be added in the spring/summer. There is plenty of space to let your furry friend run free! Please note: I am a high school student and my parents are letting me maintain the Sniffspot to earn money. Therefore, I may not be able to respond to messages right away if I am in class, but I will try my best!
