We cannot wait to share our space with you! ABOUT THE SPACE The yard is fully fenced in. We have a 4ft wire fence around the property. The back fence is a 6ft privacy fence. The largest opening is 5in at the bottom of the fence. There are no shared fence lines, our yard is ideal for reactive or sensitive pups. 🎾 The space comes with dog toys, tennis balls, place cots, digging sand, and a short but smell-filled nature “trail”. Our yard is filled with squirrels and birds and your dog will love following their scents through the brush. The area is made up of short grass, overgrown brush along the fence lines, and sandy soil. 🌳 Perfect shady spot for the summer! We have many mature trees which provide great shade but there are also large grassy spots where you can get full sun. A table and chairs are provided in the shade, as well as a covered area. 💧Water for dogs is provided, as is a water bowl. Our house runs on a small well so we have to reserve water. (The well is enclosed and located far outside of the fenced area). To supplement with the small well, we have a water tank with fresh water. please use what you need and keep them hydrated! For safety, we do have security cameras located around the property. Our house is far back off of the road. When you enter the driveway, you will pass our neighbor who is located at the road. They have dogs that will might bark when you drive past them. They are fully enclosed in a privacy fence and cannot be seen from our yard but they can be heard if they’re barking. First things first: “Will the horses be out there when my dog is?” NO! The horses will be put away if I know someone is coming. While friendly towards most dogs, safety comes first so the horses will be in a seperate area. HOWEVER - it is just a rope fence, so dogs can get in and out as they feel comfortable interacting with the horses. I do NOT recommend letting them mingle unsupervised in that area. As far as the pasture goes, it is 2.5 acres and fenced all the way around the perimeter. Dogs cannot get in or out without human help. Tons of room to run and play. I have two huskies that are game for friends if wanted. The pond is pretty big and my guys love to swim in it!

Welcome to our home! We live in rural Sampson County and would love to offer a spot for locals and travelers to come run and play with their pup! We understand dog reactivity the importance of being able to stop and know that we have a quiet spot to stretch and walk that is not a traditional, public dog park! This is our private, working residence so please keep that in mind. We are very flexible on amenities and if you need something, just ask. There are chickens on the property but they will be left in their coop if a booking is made. We have a large field surrounded by wooded area that your pup is free to roam and play off leash if you choose. If you would like to set up agility equipment - be our guest! In the summer the field does have patches of wildflowers that can get several feet high. We do not spray or apply any chemicals to them. There may also be a large brush pile present as we are actively clearing invasive plant species but we will not be burning while you are here! Please don’t allow your dogs to go into the front of our property. Kindly keep them in the field behind our home and garage. There is a covered shed area you may use to get out of the elements but please be advised there is equipment and sharp stuff under there so use at your own risk! Remember this is the country so there may be snakes, rabbits, ticks, ants, and other types of wildlife. Please dress and prepare accordingly ☺️. Thanks
