22+ acre property with 20 acres that is fully/securely fenced. The front half is an open field & orchard, the back is forested and has maintained trails throughout. There's covered seating in the field & woods, portapotty, drinking water station, toys etc - see amenities for more details. There are seasonal streams, ponds in the woods this time of year, plus extra puddles & mud during/after moderate-heavy rain. Foot bridges and woodchips keep the main trails in decent shape for walking but there are plenty of muddy areas to explore so expect a wet, dirty dog - waterproof traction boots (muckboots etc) recommended. There's a dog rinse station (elevated, tethers, sidewalls) for faster cleaning that's easy on the back and keeps clothing drier; bring your own towels. Reservations are available up to 30 days in advance. Some days fill fast but plans can change & bookings get modified/canceled (2+hrs beforehand) - check back for an opening if interested. Thank you for being considerate of our space by reading and abiding by SS and spot specific rules and asking all who accompany you to do the same. First time visitors get an auto-message 2hrs beforehand with helpful info.

This is 40 undeveloped, private wooded acres less than 15 minutes from Bellingham and 10 minutes from Mount Baker Highway. There is a long unpaved road to wander on as you adventure deeper into the property. Trails to come, until then, explore as you wish. Enjoy nature’s agility course by wandering at your will. For Pack (more than 3) Pricing, message us for a bigger discount. In the wet season, there is mud at a few low spots on the back trail. Please consider wearing boots for now.

Coming here will feel like you are in the country with the beauty of the mountains, a field to run in and a trail to hike in. *Please note that the acreage is a total of 86 acres including the crop areas. There is very little time that the crop area is restricted. When the pumpkins are grown, it is fun to walk up the rows and we welcome the pups to be in there, take photos etc. If you visit during planting, we ask the dogs stay out of that area as that can damage the crop. There is lots of space to run and walk/hike. The perimeter trail is approximately 3.5km. There is short grass, tall grass the dogs can go in and out all over the field in the front and middle of the property. As well as up the hill trail.

Her property offers a beautiful wooded area with well maintained trails, a very large pasture/grass area to play, a water station and toys. Started with a friendly, warm welcome - the woods are so lovely with lots of different trails to explore. Lots of mushrooms out! The dogs had a blast. The cabins look so adorable - I saw one had a dog door. We’ll definitely come back. A really nice day.

It was absolutely beautiful . The trails were well kept. The host was really nice and made you feel comfortable. My pup and I really enjoyed this spot. It's big enough to roam around in but not big enough to get lost in. Lots of space for the pup to sniff and run and play. The host is very kind, and greeted us for our first visit with a little intro that was helpful. I felt safe and it was beautiful and relaxing.

Such a cute little place! We enjoyed the woods and the sound of the water! Ares had a great time running around. The highlight was feeding the goats! We brought apples and they became our new best friend! Grace was a wonderful host as well.

This is was our first sniff spot outing and it couldn’t have been better. Beautiful location and all the fun 2 Golden Retriever pups could handle. Pretty sure this was the best day of their lives. Fully fenced so I felt safe letting them explore everywhere. Great place to practice recall and other skills we haven’t mastered yet. Grace was very kind and thoughtful and it was nice to be greeted and know exactly where to go. Goats were an added bonus and pups enjoyed saying hello :)

Are dog hiking trails safe?

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
